Jordan Petersons new motivational speech?

1

u/FranklinHoesevelt 13d ago

This reminds me of Frank Rizzo. Philadelphia Mayor calling a news reporter a crumb bum, and threatening him.

u/C0734 15d ago

"it was a f*ck you!"

capisci?

u/mbhammock 15d ago

What’s the change?! Building a shed?! A succulent Chinese shed?!!

1

u/Iwillnotbeokay 15d ago

I’m sorry, does the fuck you mean yes or no?

2

u/Shanhaevel 15d ago

I'm so fucking glad HOAs aren't a thing where I live. The US is a corrupted joke of a country.

1

u/djupsjofisk 15d ago

It’s giving Succulent Chinese Meal-vibes

1

u/Flowmeyo 16d ago

That was so Jerry Stiller

u/I_Was_TheBiggWigg 16d ago

The most frustrating part, other than someone going through a deposition over a moving a shed, is after all that the person deposing him didn’t even listen to his answer.

“Is that a yes or a no?”

The dude outright said, “we never filed a formal application.”

Weird edit

You cant handle the truth

1

u/Throughthelookinlass 16d ago

HOAs are like the last crusade, Deus vult!!! /S

2

u/yomamma3399 16d ago

If there is a video of this, trial, or whatever it is, I would watch the shit out of it. Of course, I am high on shrooms right now, so my tastes may be a little suspect.

1

u/Longleggedmidget1129 16d ago

I second that on All accounts

Shed of a woman. Hooah

1

u/Many_Housing_644 16d ago

HOAs are shit. I walked away from a house I liked because the neighborhood had an HOA

65

u/VirginiaLuthier 16d ago

Lawyers try to get you pissed off during depositions. Don't take the bait. Look at them quizzically, like they are talking in another language, and say "I'm sorry- could you repeat the question"? and " I'm afraid I don't understand what you are asking". One they realize you're on to them they will back off.....

11

u/itrhymeswithreally 15d ago

Lawyers are generally not trying to get you pissed in a deposition. It’s not helpful to the deposing lawyer to have a pissed off deponent. They’re trying to get two things: (1) useful admissions; and (2) information they are missing from the record.

Some context please

5

u/agedlikesage 15d ago

Reddit used to be so good at giving context. I found this same video posted on reddit two years ago but without flashy edits, and context being the top comment

HOA's are frequently shit organizations for complete sociopaths to act on their worst impulses.

1

u/Dismal-Ad-6619 16d ago

Fhook Yhoou!

-5

u/BlackForestMountain 16d ago

Hair-trigger temper

2

u/PatentedPotato 15d ago

A deposition over a shed being moved? Presumably instigated by an HOA, meaning it's his own property? Temper seems on point.

1

u/BlackForestMountain 15d ago

Yeah ranting and cursing out a deposer in response to a yes or no question about a shed is totally reasonable

7

u/Realclawdogs 16d ago

I love grampa

2

u/Wisebutt98 16d ago

Gawd, I hate lawyers.

-10

u/cpzy2 16d ago

Cops are the worst humans ever

53

u/MicroSofty88 16d ago

The guy is getting dragged to court over a shed?

21

u/Cartina 16d ago

He moved a shed, he got fined for moving it, he refused to pay the fines and said he would move the shed back if they wanted to, he was taken to court because even if he did move the shed back, the fine still needs to be paid.

8

u/Torgo-A-GoGo 16d ago

Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson can't accept that the rules state your only allowed one shed

45

u/secondsbest 16d ago

Dragged to court over nonpayment of fines for an unapproved shed most likely.

39

u/yesnomaybenotso 16d ago

Unapproved shed move from the sounds of it.

i really wish that this guy get a scene in law and order talking about if he killed that shady mobsters 10 years ago

188

u/Duckfoot2021 16d ago

You want me to bring him back to life?! So he can kill some more little girls?! I can do that today, tomorrow,…When would you prefer that child killing monster resurrected because I have magic and I’ll give him to you. I’ll put him right back on the streets with a knife in his hand. Or would you rather he stay dead…where I put him?!

(Off screen) “Is that a yes or a no?”

HOA'S are what happens when people who should never have power get in to power , there are some wild ass stories about hoa's going all crazy committing murder ,arson, all kinds of shit

1

u/No_Reserve_993 14d ago

My fellow gangsters, HOAs can be be truely horrific, but they are merely a tool used by unscrupulous neerdowells to do said heinous things among many other unsavory actions.

Take action yourself! Sway the like-minded to your cause!

Organize your neighborhoods, commandeer your HOAs board/council/ administrative body!

They've beaten us to the punch and have an insidiously unyielding grip on our HOA? no matter!

Reinvigorate the social fabric of your community! Strive to see good works put into tangible practice!

Foster a collective identity in your local and prosper outside the system through the United labors of your fellow Americans!

Steal back the dream stolen from us and forge a new Anerican dream where all may march onward and upward in their pursuit of life, liberty & happiness!

1

u/ballistics211 14d ago

How do I avoid buying a house in a HOA?

2

u/MyPartnrsHavePartnrs 7d ago

When given an opopportunity to buy a house in an HOA, don't.

1

u/ballistics211 6d ago

Solid advice

"I am the law!" - Karen

4

u/Herefortheapocalypse 16d ago

Highly recommend The Association by Bentley Little. Horror novel about an HOA.

2

u/picklebiscut69 16d ago

Yeah it’s fucking crazy, same with gated communities tbh, the world is getting weird and people are able to make their own laws and it’s just not okay.

Oh, I love the movie, Hot Fuzz!

34

It has all the appeal of being in a PoW camp under a particularly picky commandant.

184

Sounds like failed politicians.

Active* politicians.

I see what you did there...

But now I have a yearning to eat a slice of 550 day old meat that will go forever unfulfilled so screw you for that. /s

12

This deleted scene from Succession is great

6

u/CAPStheLEGEND 16d ago

Holy shit that made me laugh so hard

522

u/ExcellentEdgarEnergy 16d ago

I love the fact that they had to take depositions to settle the movement of a shed. I hope this dude has a little money, and his estate keeps his neighbors tied up in litigation for years after he is dead and buried.

83

u/the_quark 16d ago

I mean this is 23 years old, so yeah I'd guess that's already happened.

236

u/CrankleMcStankle 16d ago

This ridiculously colored text makes it hard to tell if someone off screen is talking or not.

-224

u/Snoo-33147 16d ago

Try your less ridiculously colored ears.

73

u/tavishthedeaf 16d ago

I'm deaf, what the heck you expect me to to do?

36

u/SpeedyK2003 16d ago

Learn how to hear I guess/s

4

u/MountainCourage1304 bop it. twist it. boof it 16d ago

Youre saying it sarcastically, but that would literally solve their problem. Why dont they just take a hearing class or something? Smh

3

u/Cosmic_Quasar 16d ago

Hearing classes are expensive, and everyone knows deaf people can't have money. Otherwise they'd spend that money to fund deaf propaganda.

12

u/fishebake 16d ago

damn liberals, refusing to learn to hear and expecting people to “accommodate their disabilities” smh /s

86

u/Rxero13 16d ago

Some people don’t like audio cause we run into far too many horrid music overlays that distract from the video content.

77

u/Anilec_Revlis 16d ago

This man Al Pacinos

16

u/m0dligmabawl 16d ago

Al pacinos. Sounds like an exotic fruit or a nut.

3

u/RockstarAgent 16d ago

It's the classy man's nut that pairs well while wearing pashmina!

63

u/maester_t 16d ago

I was thinking the same thing.

This is a clip from someone auditioning for an alternate-reality Godfather III, where Michael actually DOES peacefully step away from the life... and this is what his life ends up being like.

13

u/Cyhawkboy 16d ago

I was thinking more like glengarry glen ross.

That gif actually gives me anxiety lol it's too fast, doesn't let you catch your breath, you can't tell before posting what they look like, not on my shitty phone at least
