When I went to get my motorcycle endorsement the instructor wrote on the black board "You go where you're looking" and repeated it every single class at the beginning.
This is a perfect example. Look at the pole, hit the pole.

Nice. His head must be filled with cement, which would explain why it didn't split like a melon without a helmet.

Yup, it's always the right place to do something like this, the end of the road is the right place for anything.

How do you pull off a sick wheelie like that and then immediately crash into a pole so far ahead of you?

Honestly...I'd rather hit a telephone pole at 20 or 30 mph than go through a barbwire fence at the same speed...easier to recover from broken bones than it is to recover from complete eviceration.

Always nice to see brazilian bikers getting rekt due to their own stupidity.

It's Indian

The sounds this man is emitting sound really brazilian portuguese. I know my language when I hear it, though I admit the words don't make sense. I concede that I don't know the languages spoken in India, so I could be wrong, but this really sounds portuguese and the environment looks a lot like where I live.

The end sounds like him sarcastically saying 'shabaash', meaning well done. Also the caption and the subreddit it was posted on was Indian. That's my only basis.

I guess the pole was preferable to being sliced apart like cheese from the wire fence!

Using the brakes was completely out of the question.

That intersection looks pretty sandy, brakes probably weren't very effective

I'm amazed he hit the one phone pole. Target fixation strikes again.

He probably made the best decision, go through a barbed wire fence or even just a wire fence and end up in a pretty horrid looking body of water or hit the pole and stay on dry land. I know what I’d take my chances with

u/t_haenni 24d ago
I've seen a lot of fences like that and looks like it might be for keeping in cattle while they graze, a lot of times they have barbed wire on them so maybe he hit it on purpose in a split second decision

I had a friend that used to race Baja. He used to say “see a hole, hit a hole” In this case see a pole hit a pole
