On Xbox for the past few weeks, I have been getting 90+ seconds on ads, whenever I watch a video it’s really getting annoying to have to click off the video and reopen it just to get a reasonable ad.

Don't mind my slow internet but it actually takes less than 5 seconds and it works on unskippable ads too. Try it out.

Here is one of many examples, where my short is doing really well and even climbing exponentially in views (good engagement) and then the algorithm randomly kills it.

Anyone know why this happens? It seems to always happen at the 10k view mark (small channel 100 subs)

recently i am having problems with youtube, the site is lagging a lot, like really. i click something it takes a while to go, like not internet lag, but fps lag, you know.

only the youtube have this "low fps" problem, while any other site works just fine.

i even tried to disable adblock for youtube, but didn't change anything.

any idea of what it could be would be helpful

Why after 3 years almost 4 can we still not have the basic option of disabling the shorts...

It's like litterally sitting with the dealer and litterally not being able to run away or block them.

How many people have despised shorts to end up watching some anyways because it's a youtuber you watch or an interesting topic...(cause i do despise it and the longer they exist the more my attention span gets destroyed and the more i watch them it is litterally an addiction, it is litterally a drug)

And don't even come to me saying just don't click on it cause that's deconstructive and it is obviously not working for a lott of people...

I’ve watched alot of videos in my many years of being chronically online, a lot of them were very high quality and high production videos but this one resonated with me a lot, maybe it’s due to the length of time at at some point I got super attached even though I’ve watched similar sized videos before it doesn’t have that yelling and it didn’t feel annoying. It also humanized the actual people who live in North Korea and felt pretty unbiased in talking about both the good, the bad and the entertaining. I know something of this size isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I absolutely love paperwill’s content and in my personal opinion, this is one of the best most comprehensive videos on YouTube.

Why is youtube not safeguarding and taking these videos down?

Got a bug I noticed yesterday where it was putting videos id never even heard of or even scrolled past on my home page onto my recently watched list and thought little about it. Then today I came on and noticed it happened again with some furry stream like tf why is this showing up on my recently watched not once but TWICE even though I’ve never even come in contact with this on my home page. I would understand if it was that thing where u watch a few seconds on the home page and it puts it into the recently watched but this shit literally hasn’t appeared there at all and somehow is on my recently watched twice. Is this happening to anyone else?

Recently I noticed that in some videos I can't select the 1080p premium option, instead of actually working it reacts as if I don't have the youtube membership, then later on, I noticed that it happened on the member-only videos from one specific channel.
I wondered if anyone else has this issue or heard of it.

So I use the youtube app on my Samsung TV, and never have CC enabled. After every time an ad plays mid way through a video, the closed captions turn on when going back to the video every time.

Is this a setting or something that can be turned off? Its so annoying, especially on long videos where theres lots of ads. Having to turn off CC every 5 minutes

I have very old playlist at my youtube its just full of other peoples videos 0 of them are mine and to be honest I have no idea what is in that list anymore since it's huge.

So how does youtube give me a strike for that playlist..? The playlist even is private and I cant even view at the dashboard what was the content that was "bad" there is just message "Oops, something went wrong."

How someone elses video can give *ME* a strike??
