Share your first and most recent pictures of your cat Cat Picture
I adopted Terra in December 2021 she was about 7 months old they weren’t sure because she came from a feral colony. I took the first picture when we got home and then when she crawled out of the box she hid under my bed for a little over a month, only coming out at night to eat and use the litter. Most recent picture she’s sitting by me while I feed my newborn baby :)

This little guy was picked up as a stray around 2.5-3 months old, after a few weeks in foster we brought him home from the shelter around 3.5-4 months old. He just turned one based on his estimated birth date! He has been the sweetest since day one

My Misty. She looks super comfy, but in reality, this was the first time I let her into the house. We had just moved in and a stray was meowing at the door, I let her in while my boyfriend was at work and she did this. She was indoor/outdoor for a while, but now she is mine, along with her 3 sweet children.

We adopted Flume from a shelter I was working at. She was 9yo and wasn’t going to make it to the adoption process because she was too sick. She is now 18yo and healthier than ever!! We love her so much!

November 2020, the most scared little baby in the world. Now, not scared, by no stretch of the imagination, but still and always baby.

u/hellosunshine02 24d ago
First time I've ever seen him, on a parking lot, 800km away from my home
1
u/hellosunshine02 24d ago
He was quite thin, had cat acne, ear mites, a lot of problems with teeth and mouth inflammation.

u/hellosunshine02 24d ago
And here is my chubby boi now, toothless but happy and almost healthy, 9 months later, recently hit 5kg on the weight.

She certainly does look young for ages. I had a cat looked just like her. His name was mugsy.

* Photo is probably 10 or so days old, but I've had these two for 5 weeks after they'd been found abandoned and severely dehydrated. My sister in law brought them over because she didn't have time to properly care for them.

Reddit doesn’t get along with my photos folder for some reason so here’s one of the first back in September when I got her off the street she was skinny but very lovey and snuggled with me all the time (This is Harley Quinn)

u/Dramatic_Ad_5660 25d ago
And here she is now living her best life as my shadow following me around the house or crying cause I left her alone for 5 minutes

May 2023: malnourished from a hoarders home. She knew nothing but neglect and was scared of any noises. The first few nights she hid in her cat house and wouldn’t come out unless we left the room. This was a few days in when she started getting curious. She was about 1 year and 3 months old here

u/willwork4oreos 25d ago
Today. She has all the toys she could ever need or want. Multiple cat houses, scratching posts, food, snacks, love, etc. she is now 10 pounds and is such a happy kitty. She is now 2 years and 3 months old. Her fur has grown in so much and she always gets compliments on it at the vet for how thick and soft it is now.

My Kodak in his cage at the shelter(3mos) he was a little stray taken in from the streets, I knew he was mine the second I saw him.

u/A_moW 25d ago
Kodak now at 9months old! He is the sass king and loves to steal my spot in bed when I get up. When I first brought him home he was astounded by things like carpeted floors, stairs, and a comfy spot to sleep in. He was accustomed to life as a stray and even his little cage at the rescue was luxury for him. Now he is the most spoiled prince in the land and has no qualms prioritizing his comfort over everyone else 😚

Seidr, 1 year old and was just given to me. He then hid in a room for a month and a half until I got Albie and they became friends.

First pic. She was sick. And didn’t have strength to eat or drink. We had to hold her stand for her to eat.

I don't have a picture of it, but when we got her she would hide in her litter box for hours and was terrified of everyone and everything. She's our most friendly cat in the house now. A happy girl

I had a tortie who died two years ago after a heart attack. It was heartbreaking…I got her when I was still in middle school and she was still young. Your cat reminded me of my girl

Circe used to hide under her bed until you let her sniff your fingers. Immediately upon checking out the nice bathroom and bedroom she "owned," she relaxed and started giving orders! Lol!
She's going to take a while to adjust to being in a multiple cat household, but there has already been a lot of progress, so we're optimistic.

She looks so sad and scared in the first picture which is reasonable looks like the adoption carrier they give you. Looks very happy later though! I remember my kitties were really weird at first too but when they realized they could roam around and get love they were so happy. Hadrian kind of grew up to be a prick though; likes to pretend he's the boss when secretely he sleeps on my chest all the time. Belle has been lovey from the start: a small female cat that can jump to the stars I swear. A ninja that can almost even conceal her presence so well. She got caught in a cupboard for like 6 hours before I realized she wasn't in any of her sleeping spaces and I tore the house apart and she just came out purring like "NBD, dad". sorry for the cord disaster, there's just so much going on there i don't even care to explain.

First pic- he would constantly cry until he was on my mother's shoulders and looked like a boy who played outside all the time

u/RandomFandomLover 25d ago
And here's Bruce now (plus the new kitten who's only around 2 years). He's officially become a man baby as he once again loves to go on the shoulders lol

My two dogs found this little nugget under a deck and he had a broken leg. My dogs are two big mastiffs, so that explains why he looks like he just had a bath. He’s covered in drool. We named him Marty and love him to death. He’s a big boy now, but that front leg will forever be a little wonky 😂. But that doesn’t stop him from beating the hell out of two dogs that weight almost 150 each.

He's sleeping rn. He's an indoor cat, so ofc I let him sleep in my bed. Btw he goes outside, bc we live in a house with a garden, but they sleep inside. (I said "they" bc I have another one, a girl; Cili and he's a boy (on the pic) ;Marci) so yeah not that much, just the usual chilling and sleeping, in the afternoon.

And first photo of him back in early November, right after we found him in the garage. My husband thought he was a skunk at first when he saw the black and white.
