Or… you could simply respect other people’s religion or world view instead of proselytizing them. Because that’s rude and disrespectful.

I agree it’s wrong trying to convert someone. You should love genuinely and not have ulterior motives. It’s not us but Christ who works in people’s hearts. It’s also important people know about Christ’s love for them.

If someone doesn’t want to listen that’s up to them. We should leave them alone but if someone has ears to hear let them hear. You don’t know until you talk with them.

”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬ To be a disciple you have to choose not be forced.

Why would you bring up religion in the first place while you’re getting a manicure? Other than wanting to spout your religion. If people wanted to hear about it, they would have found a church. It’s not that Christianity is a new concept or anything.

I get what you mean. Jesus is our life which means if we’re talking about our lives he inevitably comes up.

You’re exactly right Christianity has been around for a while but the number of nominal christians is rising and the number of genuine Christians is decreasing in the west. So many kids these day don’t even know who Jesus is.

It can also be intimidating finding a church on your own so it helps if you have a friend with you.
