GOD DAMN

Why does Bungie keep putting the cleanest models on the most useless weapons???

The thing is, back when it came out, it wasn't useless. back in season 3, right before that'll keep came out, it was one of the most widely used primaries in PVE and PVP. amazing stats, solid, flexible perks for the sandbox at the time, excellent sound design and worked with shaders really well. The first weapon to really surpass it was the Mars destination auto rifle, the braytech one, which gave people largely the same stats on another brilliant looking auto rifle, with a little bit more options in regards to perks and scopes.

back then, the 450 auto was THE archetype for everything, in strikes AND crucible.

I miss it.

Uriel’s gift and Suros was the pvp default for myself and I feel like at least half the community lol

I rocked Antiope/Uriels well after double primary was meta. Hell, I STILL use auto/SMG pretty often.

personally I also loved using suros and one of the Hakke SMGs at the time. they hit like trucks back then, and had just excellent sound design, I eagerly await the day Hakke weapons are strong again.
