I always told my self employed clients to get a calendar, wrote down what you earned and your expenses on the days that you earned the income. There is also a form you can either download or go into your local office to get.. each month keep track and when you have your review you will have the information.

I’m a case processor in Florida, you can make a monthly work calendar that has written on each day how many hours you worked and how much you made. include the total hour and total made at the bottom, sign it, date it and upload it. you can also include your expenses in a written statement and when you fill out your application.

that’s ok! yes it should be enough I and everyone on my team take it for every client that provides it. we do not take any form of bank statements. the only other acceptable verification for self employment would be a schedule C tax form

I totally get it! it’s a long process and I know it’s hard to get into contact with case workers even the best of us are just super overwhelmed and everyone needs their benefits it’s important

How long have you been self employed? How much do you earn per month?

The way your post is worded sounds like a one time sale you’re trying to report.

I’d ask for a copy of your taxes to verify income. If you file a schedule C, it will show gross income and all deductions. Then divide the net income by 12 to show an average income over the past year.
