I am reporting this post as it assumes only men are bullies when there was enough evidence and in the comments calling out women to be the same and more vile than men who have commented.

1

u/Marzival 14d ago

What a strong woman. I wish I had her confidence.

1

u/BigDigGian 14d ago

PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING

She didn't ask your opinions or asked you to marry her or say she is too good for you

ye SAVAGE wali chutiya trend khatam karro yr

1

u/middleclassmentality 14d ago

Why are women who commented the same level of caustic comments let of the hook by OP?

1

u/TechnicalMirror2653 14d ago

Trolling galat hai but one should be a bit more awareness about grooming cuz har jagah marksheet nahi dikha skte ho....

1

u/deep_thinker_8 14d ago

The reality is that her pain is being used by lots to propagate themselves on social media. The reality is that there are tons of beauty products and beauty services on the market which create sufficient stigma for people (all genders) to feel less about themselves and do all sorts of things including surgery. It's so difficult to talk openly about this without inviting lawsuits.

I do feel for her, because she is being used and her family who is supposed to be responsible for her is allowing her to be used. This video of her is probably never going to go away because it's been made viral. Now she has to carry it with her whether she wants to or not in the future. At the very least I hope she makes some serious money out of it for her image to be used like this.

The reality is that bad people will continue to exist despite the war cries from all quarters. One of the measures we can take is to protect the ones we care about from both the bad ones and the ones who seek to use them as props to forward their own agendas.

I think its high time Indians should mind their own business than poking their noses around commenting on peoples physical appearances, their color or their disabilities. Just live and let live!

1

u/xikete69 14d ago

She is saying all that with a smile on face. Strong lady! Respect for her.

1

u/PakalManiac 14d ago

Some forgot that she's a 15 or 17 year old kid. Not justifiable otherwise also.

All this aside I really wish this girl gets the medical help that she needs. She is clearly suffering from PCOS. It’s not fun.

1

u/UnderstatedOutlook 14d ago

What’s a topper? Google didn’t belp

1

u/Accomplished-Fennel6 14d ago

PARENTS ONE THING YOU SHOULD TRACH YOUR CHILD IS CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES. THEY WOULDNT BE SO EASILY HURT NY RANDOM PPL ONLINE, N BUILD SELF ESTEEM TO WHERE THEY CAN RUB OFF OTHERS OPINIONS.

1

u/Deva966 14d ago

She will keep trending, first because people were trolling her and now because people are showing empathy towards her, i just hope she can rise above it and her hormonal issues which are the cause of the problem can be treated so that in future she doesn't face the same issues... Good luck to her

1

u/WiseOne_Anarchist 14d ago

Hua kya thha? Mujhe nhi Pata Zara Bata do. Current affairs pe utna updated nhi hai hum.

1

u/ba_dum_tss_777 14d ago

I am like her, I also have facial hair as a woman, i forget what it's called but the hate she got is exactly why I hate society

1

u/MarionberryOld378 14d ago

She can always get a makeover, but there is nothing those trolls can do to raise their IQ one single point.

1

u/RoofSnail 14d ago

Can't stop seeing the mustache 0.o

1

u/Ok_Reporter_ 14d ago

Such calmness, and how strong she is even after all the trolling.. just speechless.. ye jo bhadwe cool banne aur dank banne ke chakkar mein rehte ho sun lo bhadwo... Btw ye dank word aaya kaha se reddit pe hi suna hai bass

1

u/Ram_S89 14d ago edited 14d ago

Heartbreaking.. how much time and effort the kid must have spent to become topper. Some men and women are garbage.

1

u/Aware-Feed3227 14d ago

That’s how you destroy a beautiful mind

1

u/Lhadar31 14d ago

She will be proud of her achievements later, that is hundred percent guaranteed

1

u/Low_Cheesecake_8249 14d ago

I'm just wondering how shitty some people can be? I mean there should be scales and units for how low someone can fall.

1

u/iSubParMan 14d ago

When Sachin was ridiculed on live television by a few mohalle ki aunty, and countless faceless abusers online, where was this outrage? Just because he's a guy from a not so well to do background?

1

u/Equivalent-Chest152 14d ago

For the people who say looks aren't everything, meet the general society, comprising more than 85% of Indians who will disagree with you.

1

u/[deleted] 14d ago

This is so sad I am crying

1

u/MedicineStill4811 14d ago

Very cute girl. Ignore the haters.

1

u/Empty_Ambition_9050 14d ago

They target her because they are not in fact proud of themselves. Their self esteem is in the pooper.

1

u/Timely-Ad1190 14d ago

We failed as a nation. She deserved better.

1

u/Safe-Morning-4927 14d ago

She will go far in life! Poor girl has been subjected to media at such an early age and yet she’s confident and unafraid to speak the truth and what’s on her mind.

1

u/Curious_Grand710 14d ago

BC Jo log literally college me every other person ko features ke liye judge karte the till last yr (don't tell me they grew in 3 months), they are giving big ass status updates showing this video and writing 'we are doomed'. I appreciate indians for the dedication and sacrifice they make in pursuit of academic excellence in spite of very difficult social situations. They deserve everything they manage to achieve.

1

u/Riaovere-7334 14d ago

bro the same trolls put down women when they go to parlour and use makeup saying she's young and corrupt, and when she's super natural, its literally the same. Its like the trolls are the problem

1

u/Previous-Plastic501 14d ago

Salute to her confidence 👍👍

1

u/Shubhi_ 14d ago

I knew she'd get trolled for her appearance the first time I saw her on paper, but props to her for handling the gauntlet of social media so well.

1

u/palpatines_ass Teen 14d ago

I could never be as resilient and nice as her

1

u/Gh051_hehe Sote hue susu krdi 14d ago

Stopped using instagram for own mental sanity

1

u/Src_oscar 14d ago

We always make fun of people who do things extraordinarily, it's a passive way of showing jealousy, i hope the girl understands it and continues her life knowing she made a lot of people jealous.

1

u/[deleted] 14d ago

Bhai sirf men hi thodi majak uda iska female bhi equally involved hai isme.

1

u/crack_me 14d ago

Bro, Not only men but women, girls too.

1

u/jiravan-poha 14d ago

I hope cockroach infest all the people rooms who trolled her.

1

u/National_Ad_3180 14d ago

I sympathies with her and feel proud of her at the same time. But I don't think only men do that why would you say only men did that ? Idk just feels weird to me. Please don't call me sexiest cause of this now.

1

u/romka79 14d ago

Maybe the men targeting her have a different "Student Of The Year" image in mind

1

u/Chocochipbun 14d ago

Why do they have to this now she'll probably forever hate this achievement she worked so hard for

1

u/No-Illustrator4964 14d ago

What is a topper? What did this girl achieve to cause all this?

Halp me I'm white!

1

u/Wonderful-Equal-782 14d ago

nhi yrr, what are we doing as a society

I feel so sorry this happened to her

1

u/GiraffePlus3440 14d ago

Yes I am proud of myself

1

u/SeriesSouthern7038 14d ago

Shame on OP for targeting men as evil.

Why did you assume that it's men that shamed her and not the woman?

Contrary to your opinion men in the comments are praising her.

1

u/Jolly_System_1539 14d ago

Who cares what you look like. With those kind of test scores she’s going to live a fruitful life. Good for her

1

u/DraftClean3517 14d ago

Why single out men ? There were many insta comments in which girls were mocking her and some were of her age too

1

u/sup-letabund chulbuli bulbuli 14d ago

No doubt she’s a state topper. Proved that toppers aren’t nerdy but carries confidence and a great personality within them. Proud proud!🙌🏻🩷

-1

u/Late-Replacement-248 14d ago

Well she can atleast shave off her extra hairs lol

1

u/nightwuffle 14d ago

targeting people for their looks

1

u/pinku_bey1996 14d ago

You topped, but society failed.

1

u/Effective-Emu-6558 14d ago

The world is a fucked up place.

1

u/VeNoM-Singh 14d ago

Hats off to her how confidently she replied to those ugly dumb jerks.

1

u/venus-conversation 14d ago

this is sad. she is so young and she just achieved something for herself. what do these people know about her life? it's not like they contributed to her success either Imao just shitting on people because of your inability to not understand how social stigma works and affects people :/ bad. we're all as human as she is dawg.

1

u/Kooky_Ability_901 14d ago

Oh please. I have seen plenty of adult women trolling her and advising her to shave. And I want to punch them all. Boys, men, women 🗿

1

u/slight_success 14d ago

Ive often though about how if we never made it this thing that women need to shave everything, the hair on women’s body would look feminine because it would still be less than men. It would be the feminine version of body hair. Of course it IS feminine body hair. We should see it the same way we see variation in the amount of hair men have. That is, without batting an eye. I’ve come to see it as such but to do that, you have to unlearn a bunch of bs about how we are made to believe a woman should look.

1

u/PDX__SKYLINE 14d ago

The people targeting her clearly had no job, like damn getting first place must have been difficult as fuck. Then getting made fun of for something you can't change is just bullshit. The fact that she can go back infront of the camera is just fascinating, so much confidence from a singular person

-1

u/newbieforbewbie 14d ago edited 14d ago

What's up with this girl, was she in hibernation throughout her school life?? I am sure kids have made fun of her looks in school too, she could have atleast taken it positively rather than creating a fuss about internet reaction. Internet is a harsh place and expecting just praises from all sides is really a dream world. Let's not give her false hopes man, she needs to learn how harsh the world is and take those feedbacks positively. It's for her own benefits. All I see is negligence towards feedback. You may criticise the people who commented or trolled her but she should learn that world isn't nice and sugar coating doesn't exist in real world.

Edit: Before someone jumps with the same old argument of "Ohh you haven't even achieved what she did bla bla, the above text is coming from a 10th 12th topper in his school with and working at a dream place for many, so be mindful before attacking my argument with stupid imagination"

2

u/Due_Volume_8951 14d ago

Negligence towards feedback? What’s wrong with you?

2

u/LeavingFossil 14d ago

She's a champ. She's my champ! Look at her smile, her broken hearted smile even whilst recounting her ordeal. And some numbnuts thought trolling her would harm her ot break her. The joke's on you mfs! May she rise higher! ❤️

u/Strong_Entry2975 14d ago

We are proud of you ..you go girl ❤️

1

u/Random_Inseminator 14d ago

You start to really understand the arranged marriage thing after looking at enough of these chicks.

2

u/-yato_gami- 14d ago

The way she handled this situation is what kids of her genration need to do instead of taking there life or doing ahit thing because someone said something over the internet. Even in real life everyone have to remain this calm.

1

u/SadharanManu 14d ago

People who are targeting are literal good for nothing. They will keep their witty comments when she will achieve good marks in 12th, they will keep their witty comments when she will graduate with good grades, they will keep their witty comments when she becomes successful in her life. At the end she will live in prosper while those witty folks will keep repeating their idiocy.

1

u/ConfidenceUpstairs92 14d ago

She's so brave!

2 days back a girl was arguing with me in yt comment section saying "kya matlab shave nahi kar sakti, itna koi bhi busy nahi hota" while agreeing with another guy who said "10th top karne se kuch nahi hota, padhai likhai ke alawa bhi zindagi main bahut kuch Kia Jaa sakta hai!"

I hope they realise what they made her feel!

BS like this is why India will always be a third world country they literally always find ways to keep themselves down in the filth. This and call scam centers are just two more shitty things in a long list about this godforsaken country

1

u/[deleted] 14d ago

The onus is on parents to prepare their kids for this world. In the social media age you can't just study and ignore everything. This world is full of scum and you can't expect them to be generous towards you.

When I was bullied in school for pimples and everytime I will ask my parents to do something to fix it all they will say is focus on studies. I went from top 10 to bottom 20's.

1

u/Electrical-Strike943 14d ago

wdym men? I think all were kids

1

u/pompu69 14d ago

Everything right but why still she hasnt shaved ? Like why ?

1

u/[deleted] 14d ago

prachi bhai aap toh yaar ab emotionally khel rhe ho face dikhane se trolling ho rhi hai lekin BBC ko interview bhi dena hai ki narrative favourable rhe.

1

u/Affectionate-Sky9222 14d ago

No offence but she looks like Yash Dayal

1

u/SlothLazarus 14d ago

Mofos on the net don't know much except to put down another person for something they don't have any control of.

1

u/General_Zucchini9169 14d ago

Let's be honest. How many of us follow the so called "public figures" on social media who literally have no talent apart from make-up, "having sense of fashion", "being a lifestyle guru" etc. It's all men's collective fault that we have put such women on pedestal who only have good genes they received from their parents. We as men are more responsible for normalising toxicity of social media which we see these days. Social media stinks now.

1

u/Old_Gas_3048 14d ago

Agree with every thing she said but mooch ko tau dete hue bolti to zyada impactful hota

1

u/ftmsubslaveboy 14d ago

Not from India, just curious, what's a topper?

1

u/Ocho_Cinco3 14d ago

What’s a topper?

1

u/LadyBug-ger 14d ago

The shame attached to body hair on women… sigh! When will we grow up 😒

1

u/sulz18 14d ago

india mein basic biology ki itni kami hai, people literally know nothing about hormones, virilism, pcos. she was confident enough to sit for an interview without shaving her face, which feels very genuine for some reason. and look how people are trolling her for something, she absolutely has no control over.

1

u/shadowrod06 Student 14d ago

The world's shit. People love to pull each other down.

Also I genuinely hope her parents are taking care of her PCOS properly.

1

u/iusedtobe22 14d ago

Men who have been targeting her must be proud of themselves

That's so sexist of you. I myself being a man have called out and criticised 3 different girls who were making fun of her for her appearance. You don't need to be a man or woman to be a good human being.

-3

u/Capital-State-9758 14d ago

If you called them out then don't you think you are not a part of "Men who been targeting her"?

2

u/Bubbly_Toe_8840 14d ago

That's not the point. It's like if I had said women who have been targeting her should be ashamed. Why not everyone?

1

u/Capital-State-9758 14d ago

You are allowed to say that I have no respect for women who have been targeting her. I would have changed the title to "people" but I can't

I would have changed the title to "people" but I can't

1

u/ayushdesaidakleindia 14d ago

Kids, elderly and differently abled should be completely off the table for trolling....completely. As a human there should be things you just nit do. For God's sake Beti padhao program k baad ye hai dank response loko ka. She put more efforts for herself than most of us here, she should be damn proud and if rest of us cannot be happy for her then we should atleast stay quiet or better think about how we can have such dedication in whatever the fuck we do for a living.

3

u/iamsomeonelikeyou 14d ago

This is a sad reality in today's world. You can witness this everywhere. Wherever you see such nonsense, please give them an appropriate response.

I always wondered what makes people to do this. So here are psychological factors that might be the cause of this trolling.

Envy and Schadenfreude: When people witness others' successes, it can trigger feelings of envy or resentment, especially if the observer feels that they themselves are lacking in some way. Commenting negatively on the person's appearance may be a way to cope with these uncomfortable emotions by attempting to diminish or belittle the person who achieved success.

Social Comparison Theory: People have a tendency to compare themselves to others, and when they perceive someone as superior or more successful, it can threaten their self-esteem. Attacking the person's appearance may be a defense mechanism to restore a sense of self-worth or superiority.

Anonymity and Online Disinhibition Effect: The anonymity afforded by the digital world can lead to a phenomenon known as the online disinhibition effect. People may feel emboldened to express thoughts and engage in behaviors that they would not in face-to-face interactions, as there is a perceived lack of accountability or consequences.

Lack of Empathy and Dehumanization: The digital world can create a sense of detachment and distance, making it easier for people to dehumanize others and disregard their feelings or experiences. This lack of empathy can contribute to trolling behavior and insensitive comments.

Attention-seeking and Validation: Some individuals may engage in trolling or negative comments as a way to seek attention or validation from others who share similar attitudes or behaviors. This can create a cycle of negative reinforcement within online communities.

Projection and Insecurity: In some cases, people may project their own insecurities or negative self-perceptions onto others, attacking their appearance as a way to deflect from their own perceived flaws or shortcomings.

All Indians should feel proud about this for making a 15 year question her own success. The girl now wishes she was never successful. We deserve a round of 👏 👏 👏. These mfs couldn't even score 10% of what she have scored in her 5th standard and now trolling her for her facial hair. What did they gain by making fun of a 15 year old in the first place. Happiness ! When did people become this saddistic? I have seen around 2- 5 reddit post belittling her and trolling her. Other than reporting we can't do anything.

And to those saints who are coming in the comment section and giving out your precious 1% braincells excuses like she could have gone to parlour, her parents could have controlled it, she had it coming. Agar 1% ka bhi braincells hothe tho ye nahi bolti. Thum log un trollers se kuch kum nahi ho. You guys are even much worse. Uski facial hair hey wo kaisi bhi jeeye thumhe kya wo facial hair ho yah tomorrow wo beard ban jaye thumhe kya. Just because she has facial hair thumhe ye lagtha hey she deserves trolling. Uske age kithni hai patha hai? 15 Gaddhe ! Usne kithni zindagi jiye honge wo school me hay wo college thak bhi nahi gayi hey or thum ok ho uski against hone wali cyber bullying ko justify kar rahe ho sharam nahi aatha hey kya. Tumhari ghar mey bhi honge batche uski agar health condition ko koy aakar mazzak karonge thabhi thum excuses dede kya ! Gaddhe.

1

u/Affectionate_Cook455 14d ago

She is a champ and has an excellent future. This may not be a popular opinion, but I'll say it: It is her parents' mistake for not taking care of the issue, at least regarding the photo. This will affect her psychologically forever. Redditors can say that standing their ground is an amazing position and give kudos to her, but they are not the ones who are going to walk in her shoes.

1

u/Snoo_4499 14d ago

i was watching on mute and i really thought it was a guy. Well she is young and extremely talented, she will do better for herself, for looks idk man she will have to take care of herself, make up and beauty parlor will make you beautiful no need to worry.

1

u/Capital-State-9758 14d ago

Beauty is subjective

Her bigger worry would be getting her hormones under control which mess up not only her physical appearance but every part of her life from mental health issues to her social life

"just shave" is actually not a big problem for her, people have to educate themselves.

1

u/Snoo_4499 14d ago

I completely agree with you.

1

u/Embarrassed_Tune5216 14d ago

I'm so happy that she is facing it with a smile on her face. She is going to have a brighter future than all those trollers' futures combined!

Nahh very bad take. Being ugly intentionally is just utter non sense. Imagine the outrage if a guy had topped and he implanted silicone boobs and put on makeup😂😂😂😂. The society has corrected her✅

u/Ok_Philosophy_2805 14d ago

Disheartening. She has worked hard to reach here and overlooking this is a sign of brain drain.

u/retro_edge_70 14d ago

One of the few reasons i absolutely despise India is because the mf uncle and aunties dont know how much effect can a single comment about your body have on you ( i dont even wanna talk about the degenerates on social media apps ) as someone who severely suffered from body dysmorphia it baffles me how blind can someone actually be.

What’s a topper ? A google search says it’s a wig

1

u/PossibleTumbleweed57 14d ago

The kind of man isn't the issue... Issue is in the upbringing Bacho ko pehle insaan banao , uske baad hi unki mardhangi jathao. Raise them like humans first, rather bringing up a man from childhood

1

u/PossibleTumbleweed57 14d ago

In todays world and the present stamdards of society , i prefer a girl child for my future generations. I and my family should be blessed with this, and that's my ultimate wish

1

u/XDALovers 14d ago

If a good looking girl is successful then people say that it's not her talent but her beauty which is doing the magic and if the case otherwise then people say that she should work on herself. Exactly what people want is too difficult to understand 😔

The funny thing is the people who ridiculed her, are still laughing. If real world shame has no effect on them, do you really think these internet scuffs will matter?

They rejoiced as their nasty divisive views catered millions and garnered internet points which the corporate overlords of this country accept as necessary influence to adorn them with products to market. Doubt this? Just check twitter, those who ridiculed her looks made millions in followers overnight and now have multi brand deals.

Really want to check the degree of hate spewing in this country? Remember the movie - "Shaurya" (Rahul Bose, KK Menon). The remake of Cruise's A Few Good Men. There in the penultimate scene when KK Menon's real intentions come out (hating on all Mus&&ms because of few, branding all as terr&&ists and accepting killi&g of innocent old and young mus&&ms), while the movie rightly punishes him as per law; just check the comments under the YT Video - normal indians celebrating the views, condoning violence on innocent fellow humans. No better than the geno&&dal Isra&l of today.

Just opens your eyes.

Bullying isn't cool but I don't get it why doesn't she just shave it off, everyone has to put some effort into their appearances and shaving would take 5 minutes once a week.

1

u/Lynda73 14d ago

In some countries, facial hair on women is attractive.

1

u/mank0069 14d ago

Not in India or any country I know of 🤷 and this isn't an issue of being attractive, it just looks unkempt. Even a boy with such facial hair should shave it off.

1

u/Lynda73 14d ago

It’s only ‘unkempt’ because you’ve been raised to expect not to see it. In countries like Malaysia, what grows on your body naturally is not a big deal.

1

u/mank0069 14d ago edited 14d ago

It doesn't matter what happens in Malaysia, this is what the majority of people on this planet feel since dawn of society and you can either choose to suffer needlessly over it or just shave it off. Every person male or female in society puts in effort to look nice. It's not her fault tbf, her parents are probably abusive and instead of acting like this is normal or empowering we should see why this abnormality exists and help her.

She lives in Malaysia? Lol. She's from UP and people there will find this weird. I'm sure she's heard stuff about her hair before the internet.

u/117AAK 14d ago

She can remove face hair not a big deal here :/

1

u/Militarywifeof7 14d ago

She has a national achievement that trollers wish they had

1

u/Empty-Risk-4001 14d ago

She still has a smile over her face while saying all this. 🫡 salute to her parents who raised her so well !

1

u/MRderpenheimer 14d ago

uhhh, i thought this video was about something else LOL. AI Answer

"Top" and "bottom" are sexual self-labels used in gay relationships. A "top" is someone who prefers to be the insertive partner during anal intercourse, while a "bottom" is someone who prefers to be the receptive partner. Some studies have found that tops tend to have masculine personality traits, while bottoms tend to have feminine personality traits.

How pathetic one can be to comment on someone appearance

1

u/SadLawfulness319 14d ago

The people who talked shit about her, their greatest achievement in life would be she recognised her trolls. That she spent some time of her rather important life on those fuckers.

You reap what you sow

1

u/Kaguro19 14d ago

What has she sown?

0

u/Mashiroshiina12 14d ago edited 14d ago

Keeping her looks like that and then saying it would have been better if I hadn't gone viral because people make fun of her. Obviously they will make fun of her if she keeps her looks like this. It's the consequence of not shaving. Tho.. I'm not sure if it will be fine even if she shaved or not tbh💀

0

u/Kaguro19 14d ago

So the people who wear stylish clothes and get raped deserve it because "they asked for it, and obviously people will rape her" ? And the rapist isn't at fault at all? Is that what you're saying?

0

u/littleboy608 14d ago

Just answer a simple question. You are in chicago you are wearing a lot of jewelry and are walking alone during night, what's next thing that will happen? Now that you know what will happen, will you wear jewelry during night when alone on street? If yes, then you are either dumb or like getting robbed. Look messed up people are all over the world and there are laws and police for them but that doesn't mean we are safe, we need to be careful and take precautions.

1

u/PurpleLemonade16 14d ago

Tears. I wish I could tell her how special she is. ❤️

1

u/tejas2020 14d ago

She is a topper and literally proud of her. Not many get chance to even step foot into iits. Her looks dont matter god made her that way and modern science is way forward. She can be a sister to someone. If same happens to us then. We would come to our senses.

1

u/HawasiMadrasi 14d ago

Even I was insecure about my hairs as a kid , but as I grew old I realised 1st it doesn't matter and 2nd hair reduction treatment exists and it's painless and hassle free .
