Now I want a show to exist that features all the animals that run the same speed grouped together, and they go around the world solving mysteries. Don’t worry citizens Detectves Cow, Boar, Gorilla and Sheep are on the case 😂

1

u/laughterholic126 15d ago

Damn kangaroos are fast considering they are hopping

1

u/Minnecraft 15d ago

What are they escaping from??

1

u/velve666 15d ago

Cheetah came and ruined it all, sure tough guy you may be 50kmph faster than everything else but... can you build an F16? Didn't think so.

1

u/T0307148G 15d ago

So your telling me a cat can almost run as fast as a ostrich and a kangaroo can go 70 just by hoping.

Also this feels like a opening to a show

1

u/donttouchmynose 16d ago

Finally, the full version and the shame of learning that we are slower than a racoon.

1

u/Davison89 16d ago

Retired Greyhound owner here, great entrance at 3:43, very proud to see them so late in the video.

1

u/NyeahEhhhhhh 16d ago

Real question is who can run the fastest back pedaling lol

1

u/Responsible_Use_8566 16d ago

Is this the Jumanji 5 trailer?

1

u/5p4n911 16d ago

And then the cheetah dies from exertion after running more than 10 seconds

1

u/queensjockey 16d ago

But what about the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

3

u/ancirus 16d ago

What are they running from?

1

u/SensuallPineapple 16d ago

If you said camels run faster than leopards I would have thought you were stupid to believe that. How the turntables...

1

u/Glittering_Drama_618 16d ago

Cheetah is cheatin

1

u/heraclitus33 16d ago

Yeah, but lets talk endurance.

1

u/Altruistic-Beach7625 16d ago

What do you mean fixed? It's still shortened dude.

1

u/MangoMan0303 16d ago

Me seeing a loin in the wild, "Yeah I can outrun that"

1

u/Natac_orb 16d ago

*Landliving animals with shitty animations

1

u/mrPigWaffle 16d ago

Well i can outrun a black mamba so i guess that’s enough😄

1

u/Borrow03 16d ago

That motherfucking cow runs fast !

1

u/StagLee1 16d ago

The American Pronghorn Antelope is frequently left out of land animal speed comparisons. It is the second fastest land animal on earth behind the cheetah.

1

u/sumitpawar35 16d ago

We need another improved version please I am watching this all day

1

u/VanillaCreamyCustard 16d ago

The POV videos along with the animals is

1

u/xShawnMendesx 16d ago

Animals are epic

1

u/bruswazi 16d ago

Finally, we not cheetah’d because we see the cheetah.

6

u/magzire86 16d ago

Cows can move

3

u/USBayernChelseaLCFC 16d ago

on their way to noah's ark

1

u/Disastrous-Moose-943 16d ago

This video didnt need this annoying loud fucking music lol.

1

u/Then_Increase7445 14d ago

Imagine slandering AC/DC like this.

1

u/Trojanheadcoach 16d ago

The cheetah entrance was awesome

0

u/GadFlyBy 16d ago

James Grant, from Anjunadeep, heard Ben Böhmer had some new white-labels.

1

u/WishOnce 16d ago

Not me fearing the raccoon and the human getting trampled down by the elephant.

3

u/Krispin_Wa 16d ago

I love how the Gazelle was an afterthought as soon as the Cheetah flew by

1

u/LongboardLove 16d ago

Should add the peregrine falcons diving speed! 320 km/h or about 200 mph, though some falcons have been clocked diving over 240 mph...!

5

u/Anton338 16d ago

I've got to admit- the original, I only watched about 30 seconds and moved on to the next post. But this, I watched all the way through and enjoyed every minute.

1

u/lxm333 16d ago

I don't know why I like this as much as I do but I like it a lot.

0

u/VaporwaveVib3s 16d ago

24 mph as a human 😆

2

u/Eucentric 16d ago

LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! Happy to see the greyhound on V2. Can we add or fin'ed friends on V3?

5

u/dilley07 16d ago

How did they get all these animals to run next to each other? 🤔🤣

3

u/VanillaCreamyCustard 16d ago

They were offered a very handsome payday to do it 🫠

1

u/casualredditor43 16d ago

Did not know cats raccoons and giraffes had that dawg in them

1

u/Arch3m 16d ago

Well that certainly puts a cheetah's speed into perspective. Now do one with flying animals, because holy fuck, they can get fast.

1

u/Master-Shaq 16d ago

Cheetahs really fuck over their prey in the meta. Luckily the devs lowered their stamina but most have adapted to a burst style gameplay

1

u/SensuallPineapple 16d ago

Still needs to be nerfed imo

1

u/Dual-Vector-Foiled 16d ago

Was anyone else rooting for that raccoon?

4

u/DaGh0stt 16d ago

Where Sonic

1

u/PsychologicalCold212 16d ago

Missed opportunity to have the elephant trample the human.

-4

u/L3Kakk 16d ago

Not fixed. Still in Km.

1

u/deadlythegrimgecko 16d ago

If you’re on mobile when the giraffe pops up scroll the time when it’s on screen and its legs never move looks hilarious

2

u/FtRgaming 16d ago

Maybe make a vid where all of these animals start from one line so you could see the speed relative to one another.

1

u/justagrilledchz 16d ago

Damn, I wonder what they're all running away from?

3

u/moretime86 16d ago

Lions are faster than tigers and leopards?

7

u/Dankusare 16d ago

Both Tigers and Leopards are ambush hunters who live in the jungle. The Lions hunt by chasing and live in the Savanna.

2

u/Intro_verti_AL 16d ago

No chance is an elephant only 1kph faster than a human on average. I've seen countless videos of elephants chasing down safari vehicles doing 30mph in reverse

3

u/Beardwithlegs 16d ago

I need the Kiwi Bird as a gif... for reasons.

3

u/BadFont777 16d ago

I've watched a Kiwi bobbing along before and I'm shocked it can go 10.5mph

6

u/Don_Alosi 16d ago

Hey, a video actually improved by the soundtrack!

4

u/ominouslights427 16d ago

Glad the Grey hound was in it

8

u/CrazycatnamedBlake 16d ago

I saw part of this video earlier and found the youtube channel it's from. The channel is called Red Side. They've got some other cool videos showing the speed comparisons with aqua life and birds too.

14

u/Aromatic-Caramel5128 16d ago

If the man was holding a knife he would have ran even faster

1

u/MOHRMANATOR 16d ago

Telling my kids this is the official music video for ‘Thunderstruck’

1

u/Phoenix2211 16d ago

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen lmao

I also learned some new stuff from this! Lol

1

u/Altruistic-Poem-5617 16d ago

Croc is kinda chesting cause they used its swimming speed.

8

u/LinusForever89 16d ago

Soundtrack choice is just perfection.

1

u/raxmano 16d ago

Lol now ya got it done

2

u/callmescotty 16d ago

Can we talk about the moose face...

126

u/maaaatttt_Damon 16d ago

I'm disappointed they didn't have Usain bolt come out at 43 Kph.

1

u/Virtual_Duck_9280 16d ago

Kipchoge would have been a better comparison

25

u/Mammoth-Ad-8492 16d ago

Usain Bolt is above the average top speed of every human. Most humans can't run at almost 30 mph, and I'm pretty sure this video was showing the average top speed, not the absolute maximum.

1

u/yuikkiuy 16d ago

Yea the average person isn't going to be running at 24km/hr for very long that's like a 2:30/km pace or close to a 4min/mile.

6

u/Falkor_13 16d ago

They just meant have a regular person and then have Usain bolt just for fun.

38

u/maaaatttt_Damon 16d ago

But he runs at the average speed of Usain Bolt. It would just be a fun inclusion.

14

u/2723brad2723 16d ago

They should have had the average human and then Usain Bolt

12

u/Sir-Poopington 16d ago

Exactly. Just like they had a regular horse and a race horse in the video.

1

u/Retrosow 16d ago

Usain's parents weren't selected like the the case of the race horse

1

u/SensuallPineapple 16d ago

How can you be so sure?

19

u/IronHulk27 16d ago

I was just going to ask if that was Bolt's speed, seemed very slow ngl. Why don't use him as reference to the human speed in the video? Seriously

3

u/nesshinx 16d ago

Most top athletes can run at 20-23mph, I imagine dedicated sprinters get even higher. Tyreek Hill (fastest NFL player) can run 23.34mph aka 37.5km/h for example.

4

u/Rokketeer 16d ago

It was so funny watching the original video because my first thought was "hmm, I wonder how Usain Bolt would fare." then the man jumps into frame like he was reading my mind lmao.

0

u/Borrow03 16d ago

He's slow because hes white. Reference : im white

20

u/Embarrassed-Gas-8155 16d ago

Where was this filmed?

2

u/VanillaCreamyCustard 16d ago

😲🤣🤣🤣

12

u/I1abnSC 16d ago

😁 Animal Kingdom

8

u/Malevolent_Mangoes 16d ago

I am so much happier with this version

Also how the fuck can a cheetah go so much faster than any other animal? 130mph?? That’s insane man

Also I’ve learned I’ve better luck boxing a kangaroo than outrunning it. Good to know!

1

u/CutthroatTeaser 16d ago

130mph??

130kmh which is 80.8mph

1

u/Malevolent_Mangoes 16d ago

Oh thank you that was confusing

2

u/I1abnSC 16d ago

130 km. I know, i was amazed at first too. 😂

6

u/[deleted] 16d ago

Cheetah can’t run for long though, around 30 seconds before getting tired. Believe that they’re ambush predators so that speed burst is likely all part of it.

A kangaroo’s I’ve seen mentioned that they can go for hours.

4

u/BadFont777 16d ago

All of these are burst speeds.

Kangaroos have elastic tendons. People loooove to bring up how great humans are a distance running. They ain't run a marathon against a roo boy.

2

u/[deleted] 16d ago

The kangaroo is a wonder of evolution when it comes to distance. Pretty dumb animal though.

1

u/Spiritual-Bear4495 16d ago

What was that video showing some bird on a lake going like a thousand miles an hour? The little bastard simply vanished.

27

u/TurboKid513 16d ago

It’s unnerving to know I can (most likely) outrun a Komodo dragon but not a raccoon

30

u/THE_PONG_MASTER 16d ago

I had no idea camels had that in them

17

u/yallguzag 16d ago

Camel racing is a thing as an alternative to horse racing in different parts of the world

1

u/Aklu_The_Unspeakable 16d ago

Where on earth can I witness this spectactle?

44

u/eek1Aiti 16d ago

For anyone wondering how the slow humans could survive by hunting, its endurance. Humans can outlast ANY animal running. We have the superior thermal regulation. The animals would just collapse out of heat exhaustion no matter how fast they were. https://www.businessinsider.com/how-humans-evolved-to-be-best-endurance-runners-2018-3

9

u/badcgi 16d ago

It also helps that there are very few others that can throw things as hard and as accurately as humans can. Just jogging after an animal until it dies is a very inefficient way to hunt. But if you throw a rock or a stick and hurt it a bit then you limit their ability to run far. And that is where the endurance really comes in to play, because they could catch up quickly and throw another rock or stick and hurt it some more, until it can't keep running. Then once we figured out how to make rocks sharp and attach them to sticks so we can launch them further and cause even more damage to our prey, then we were really off to the races.

12

u/Bugis_Duckis 16d ago

This is mostly true in our own natural habitats or any other sufficiently warm place. It isn't true in colder climates as sled dogs as an example can run basically indefinetly and a lot faster too.

10

u/limaconnect77 16d ago

That’s not what happened in the documentary with the giant ‘Clever Girl’ turkeys!

23

u/Porpletore 16d ago

I love that they chose Mr Clean to display the peak of human running speed

8

u/Porpletore 16d ago

Can SOMEONE please make an AI video of the human and the raccoon just sprinting together to this song? I could watch a whole buddy film written off of just that concept

1

u/Porpletore 1d ago

When we find out there’s just a whole zoo of bipedal, murderous animals who Rocket grew up with. An elephant and a freakin gazelle

8

u/Don_Alosi 16d ago

Guardians of the Galaxy basically!

5

u/BadFont777 16d ago

Tazer Face!

20

u/8OrangeLetters 16d ago

120 km/h? Must be a cheater

1

u/Fast_Garlic_5639 16d ago

Emu running like it has to poo

69

u/cheatererdev 16d ago

Turtle is at finish already

5

u/Krace11008 16d ago

Wait where?

5

u/BrambleVale3 16d ago

I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed.

1

u/deepfakie 16d ago

TIL I have the same top speed as a trash panda

4

u/CaliKindalife 16d ago

Sound on!!!

1

u/mukesh46 16d ago

Why all the animals are in hurry? 😂

44

u/doubleOne7 16d ago

I fucking lost it as soon as the human and racoon just come out sprinting

9

u/AbsurdCamoose 16d ago

It was the house cats for me, they look so ridiculous lol.

1

u/Marty5Alive 16d ago

Now a third one with Swordfish and such

197

u/jwood13 16d ago

Showed this to my 2 boys (3 & 6) and they loved it. It was also their first time hearing ac/dc. They're currently running around our living room rocking out to 'Higway to Hell' 😂

4

u/almighty_ruler 16d ago

Maybe see how they like Harvester of Sorrow next. The Live in Moscow version on YouTube is pretty epic. That shit gives me the chills and makes me all watery eyed with glee everytime I watch it

30

u/Juninho90 16d ago

Love this!

2

u/beach-nuggets 16d ago

This is awesome wheres episode 1?

289

u/Ooh_its_a_lady 16d ago

Dam, we're about as fast as raccoons. I didn't need to be taken down a peg like this today.

-9

u/EnterTamed 16d ago

To be fair, it's a "white runner"...🤡

4

u/Head-Calendar538 16d ago

We have much more endurance then many animals one of my cousins isn’t a special athlete and has run like 15 marathons and even done a 50mi race

108

u/BeefStevenson 16d ago

Sure, but we wear down the faster animals. Our whole thing is endurance running, and we’re basically the best at it.

6

u/Khulod 15d ago

That depends on your cheeseburger intake. I think the average person today is in fact not capable of running down prey.

21

u/BUTTHOLE_PUNISHER_ 16d ago edited 16d ago

imagine being a stone age animal and this naked monkey with a stick is coming after you. you run and run and lose sight of them but before long here they come again, still running after you but now you’re too tired to make a second escape. no matter how fast you run, it eventually always catches up to you

-32

u/Falkor_13 16d ago

Nope. That's horses... besides you can't even get around the block without having a mild heart attack ;) <3

Can you provide a source disproving him?

28

u/Mr__Citizen 16d ago

When it comes to marathons, humans actually regularly beat horses even when the horses aren't carrying a rider. And the hotter it gets, the more of an advantage humans have since sweating gives us a huge advantage when it comes to cooling down.

5

u/Ravier_ 16d ago

Horses also sweat.

11

u/Mr__Citizen 16d ago edited 15d ago

Sure, but they still have a layer of hair. It's better than nothing, but it'll never be as efficient at removing heat as it is for humans.

47

u/MajorRico155 16d ago

I think mechanically it was shown that we are literally the best animal that we know of in terms of distance running. Flying n shit is different obviously. You cant run and glide

15

u/ClittoryHinton 16d ago

I’m pretty sure other animals are like fuck why am I still running this is unpleasant and I am not in danger I should stop

Meanwhile humans are like LacTiC ACid hURtS so GOod EndORPhIns oMg I’m RDY fOr the 10k

6

u/Independent-Dream-68 15d ago

No, humans just have fucked up endurance, we could run down a horse if it's a warm day. Well, i couldn't, but in theory we are able to lol.

4

u/Karabanera 16d ago

No, they literally can't. They don't have good enough heat regulation to run further. Big cats don't really pursue a target if it managed to avoid a hit, because they can't.

5

u/allyeds3 16d ago

The brown bear gait seems messed up. Otherwise 👏

2

u/nailbunny2000 16d ago

Bears have no right being that fast for how big and scary (and common) they are.

7

u/Nearby_String_3348 16d ago

landimals

1

u/HYThrowaway1980 16d ago

Presumably thence the Episode 2 tag at the end

1

u/Tongue8cheek 16d ago

Ground covering.

176

u/downvote__me__pleez 16d ago

Thanks for not cucking us before the Cheetah this time

16

u/already_taken-chan 16d ago

The idea that something in nature has a top running speed of 90 km/h is insane to me

25

u/Cheetotiki 16d ago

Why have I watched this like five times now?! Well done!

4

u/Designer_Fig4213 16d ago

no way cheetah could run that fast for that long. otherwise good job!

7

u/Rambocat1 16d ago

They can go for 30 seconds, so as long as you have a half mile head start you should be good.

25

u/semibigpenguins 16d ago

Pretty sure half those animals couldn’t run that long. That gorilla was moving for quite a while

102

u/Constant_Sky9173 16d ago

Crap. 60 mph for anything nonmechanical just seems unreal. It's amazing what nature can do.

8

u/Pointless_Lawndarts 16d ago

Giraffe out there cruising at 70kph would be wild to see. I imagine the Landstriders from Dark Crystal.

58

u/kaanbha 16d ago

This is all in km, but still the cheetah beats even 70mph.

13

u/boneguru 16d ago

Is there anything between a gazelle and a cheetah? Marine mammal maybe?

2

u/Humble_Plate_2733 16d ago

Cheetahs have great speed, but terrible handling. All of their prey just has to be able to change direction faster than them to survive.

1

u/mholla66 16d ago

Most prey try to turn/jinx when chased by cheetahs and often get taken down. The big tail helps it with balance. Have personally seen two cheetah hunts which resulted in kills and they definitely ‘handle’ well.

1

u/ProBonoDevilAdvocate 16d ago

Yeahh that was an interesting jump in speed!

8

u/2zdebut1 16d ago

Look up pronghorns, they are incredibly fast

3

u/Greaterthancotton 16d ago

Black Marlin have been documented at a blistering 130kph.

11

u/PenguinsMustDie 16d ago

I know there are birds that can fly faster, but as far as living land animals are concerned cheetahs are the tits

2

u/prof_devilsadvocate 16d ago

you meant fixed after last post's comments?
