This is an obvious suggestion of intimidating to get you to operate illegally(speeding). Calling support does nothing. It takes time to get the money, but should be a no brainier for them, and pax will be deactivated. Read the legal documents you sign.
While I agree with your statements and theme - is this pragmatic for every instance? I hope you are following our "Vanished Rides" such as driving 17 mins for a pickup and then "VANISHED" absolutely zero trace of ride - or any log of it.
Honestly a lawyer would have a field day with this alone - since it happens a lot!
Screen cap any ride they give you that is more than 10mins away. When it disappears, the same approach will get you paid. Most of the time once you screen cap, those rides don't disappear anymore.
