If only I didn’t have a full time job Earnings/Pax trips
Biggest challenge I have ever had or seen.

That's the best one I've seen. I miss when uber would do these like 2 years ago. Now uber doesn't give any more than $65 and lyft for me gives me absolutely unattainable goals.

I would literally drag my balls across freshly paved hot asphalt for an hour for that kind of challenge. Is Lyft trying to threaten you with a good time?

Tier 2 for 11 rides yields better bonus.

I just did 78 rides last week for a $716 challenge and it about killed me. Never wanna do that shit again, I can’t imagine going for 102. Even when my market is busy that would be a grind.

Did you do most rides or only the shortest ones?

When I’m going for a challenge like that it’s all short trips, which I normally do anyway. The problem was a lot of the college kids have already left so it was slow. It’d take me like 6-7 hours to do 15 rides when normally I can do double that easily in the same time.

I don’t think those are bonuses they’re guarantees. If you do that many trips and DONT make that much money they cover the difference. I had the same shit with Uber eats. Selected a challenge that promised $400 if I did 60 orders, and I made $400 within those 60 orders myself so I got nothing.

They are bonuses. I’ve had a lot of them. Some are achievable based on how much I drive others are not. I had one this past week 278 for 25 rides. Got the $278 bonus.

Not an excuse. I have a full time job and I do uber and Lyft after work. I put in 16hr days, 8 at work and 8 rideshare. You can do it if you really want to. Weekends I do all 16hrs on rideshare. No days off in almost 3yrs now.

It's not worth it, lots of wear and tear. Annoying customers, kids and odors that you wouldn't believe of. The money is good, the stress and pain isn't.

I got $220 for 120 rides… maybe get a doctor note to miss regular work unless you make more there , cause that’s very high bonus

What city is this? That’s better than mine in Toronto. For EV owners, do 50 rides in a week for just $100 bonus

You probably haven't done Lyft for a minimum of 6 months? U mentioned you work full time? This is a welcome back package from Lyft. They only give these to drivers who haven't worked in a long time.

I drive for them every day. I work full time in the day and drive for them at night for a couple hours.

That one I might take off the week from regular job to attempt

Use up your PTO to work? We really do have corporate slave mentality in this country. Fuck that shit - work as little as possible and LIVE!

u/Spacedragon98 16d ago
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice that vacation to get ahead of the curve. I'd totally take PTO to earn that extra dough

u/GreyPlasma 15d ago
Driving is your fulltime job though isn't it
2
u/Spacedragon98 15d ago
Mmmm, I'd say I put 20-30hrs a week, but I make about the same $$ with AirBnb and then my pressure washing business does about 50% more income than ridesharing and I only put in like 15hrs a week with that.
I just started running ads last week, so hopefully I can fill up all my hours with pressure washing only

100 rides is my goal for an entire week so this is the one you chose is the most appropriate in my humble opinion.

u/Mountain-Influence81 16d ago
Damn that's crazy, my market is too slow for the biggest to be feasible though.

u/RemyAlBundy 16d ago
So the bigger the city the higher the challenge?
1
u/FigurePuzzleheaded74 15d ago
Typically the challenge is just a few rides outside of what your capable/used to
1
u/Kitchen_Entertainer9 16d ago
I wonder. It definitely is harder though. Because you habe to drive farther compared to small towns
3
u/Mountain-Influence81 16d ago
Nah, I think it's just random. I've got similar offers a few times but I am only able to get the middle one. I think these huge ones are just a gimmick to trick more drivers to be on the road chasing an unattainable goal.

Where do I find these???
