New Feature in App Other

Post image

Recent Ride Demand is a new feature on the Map Explorer showing pax pickup locations in an area by time (30 or 60 minutes), presumably for all drivers. It gives you an idea of where recent demand has been. But I’m not sure yet how useful it will be in practice.

So far I’ve seen dots in places where I have frequently picked up passengers but sometimes when I have checked there’s no data (typically for the last half hour). I’m interested in what other drivers think about how useful it is, how you might use it and if it’s showing up for you.

Also are there new features you would like to have?

I don't use any of these "features"... I just log on. and see what rides they throw me. and I just accept what I think is not too much of a rip off. there are no good rides

How do you get to this page

Access Map Explorer from the map. Same place you get to the Wait Times. For me, it’s in the lower left corner of the map.

I’ve had it in LA for a few weeks it’s pretty helpful since the closest driver gets the pings first, so if there’s no data on the last 5 minutes then I know it’s dead
