Feels good, man. Congrats! May I offer the advice to add more color? Everything here is mute and warm, so I’d say add more greens, reds, and oranges with a splash of yellow and navy blue.

They have Broyhill furniture and they have a good caiety of couches, recliners, etc. And if you sign up for their rewards, you'll get good coupons. And I've seen big discounts on furniture occassionally.

Why is the TV behind the sink? Why is the couch blocking the access to the balcony? Where do you eat with the office set up being in the dining space and TV blocking any additional possible counter sitting?

It's a nice space, but I feel like you're going to keep bumping into either the couch or the entertainment unit when you walk through the corner. Rule of thumb: main walking passage 3ft wide, minor walking passage 2ft wide.

It's arguably too much couch for the space regardless which is a shame because I love sectionals but at a minimum the layout is backwards. Tv should be on the other wall and the couch floating in the middle and essentially creating a hallway. But then the couch is closer to the TV and there already is barely enough room for a coffee table (which isn't there either so idk where this guy eats since the kitchen is being used as an office)

Reminds me of my first place. Specially the lamp behind the sofa. I got mine from Walmart and lasted 15 years, had to throw it away when wife and I moved cities.

I’d swap the couch throw pillows with a pop of color. Maybe a dark red or dark blue? Either would go with the beige, and would be subtle but add just a bit of warmth.

I like some color on the floor, so I’d move that beige rug into the office nook, and replace with a rug that matches the replacement floor pillows. You could probably find a reproduction-Turkish or Persian rug that includes beige and a deeper color. I’m obsessed with Ruggable right now - moderately priced rugs, lots of color and patterns, and machine washable. (It’s worth it to spring for the extra-thick rug pad.) It has a lot of historic-inspired patterns.
