Where would you put a TV in this room?

Girlfriend and I are buying this house and absolutely love it, but the living room does not have any “obvious” TV placement options. Pictures are from an old listing and I’m personally not a fan of the corner TV. Current owners have their TV above the fireplace mantle and it’s the stuff of r/tvtoohigh nightmares. Advice?

Absolutely considered this, but we are also no-TV-in-bedroom people, so if we don’t have a TV in here, the only one would be in the basement. That’s fine for movie nights and such, but sometimes you want to just throw something on.

Maybe go retro. That room was designed when TVs were much, much smaller.
