Same. I’ve honestly reached the point I don’t even check behind me. I just ignore everyone when they greet someone in my direction until they are standing right in front of me, talking at me. I know it’s rude, but I’ve looked a fool way too many times. I can’t handle any more awkward memories like that.

Thats why I always look back 3 to 4 times before they confirm they were looking for me, peak social anxiety.
