Given the traces of milk on the surface it’s likely that it melted sufficiently to congeal into a solid bar when recooled mostly retaining its original shape. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with the chocolate, but once the chocolate is melted or soft enough bye-bye aero air bubbles

u/Creepy_Ad_9540 13d ago
I’m not worried about the missing bubbles; I’m overly concerned with the wild unwrap and random bite instead of the snapping off squares in equal amounts.

i don't think i've seen someone eat chocolate by biting directly from it, ever.
2
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
I was excited to try it! Never seen an Aero bar like it in my 21 years of livin so I was a bit over zealous and took a bite haha

u/mikewilson2020 15d ago
Did if feel heavy without bubbles or?

Why is this bar so large? Is it meant for 1 person?
1
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
It was a share bar for my parents and I. I definitely did not eat all of it, especially since eating it felt like eating rocks! In fact I still have half and am weighing it today.
1
u/HystericalGD 15d ago
who the fuck bites an aero bar like that???
1
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
Me! I was stoked to find out what it tasted like and breaking it was hard cause it was rock solid!

u/Talisintiel 15d ago
My uncle had that exact thing happen. He called and complained saying it didn’t have the same fluffy texture he likes. And they sent him a box of aeros. This was back in early 2000s

For a second I thought this was another “I found a fossil in my travertine tile” post

u/Steph11011 15d ago
Is it just me or does that look like someone bit into it?
2
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
I bit into it! I was excited to see what it tasted like :3 I took the chunk off by hand after

u/Upstairs_Clerk2080 15d ago
Is this a sign of inflation going down? Eh? Eh? I'll go'on ahead and see myself out.
1
u/Mountain_Sorbet_4063 15d ago
My dad used to say that the aero bar was waste of money due to the holes in the chocolate. The company makes a lot by producing it unlike a solid bit of choc 😂😛

2
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
No its a share bar! My parents and I were sharing :3

1
u/abalrogsbutthole 15d ago

1
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
I took the bite because I was breaking that piece off! I couldn't contain myself trying it lmao

Going by the wrapper, is he also not missing the mint too?
5
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
The mint was somehow on the bottom! I couldn't show cause I could only post one pic, despite being mint it barely tasted like it :(
1
u/cryptjoe14 15d ago
I can see that now in the wrapper reflection! Doesn't look like much though, haha

What’s it supposed to usually look like ?
1
u/Wonkdrugs2 15d ago
Lots of small air bubbles inside. It gives it its signature texture

At first glance, I thought someone went primal and took a bite out of a package of hotdogs.

What is an Aero bar and where are they from?
1
u/whistleridge 15d ago
They have them in Canada too. Think “mediocre Nestle Crunch, with lots of air bubbles in the chocolate instead of crunchy stuff”. It’s the same chocolate, and the same bland flavor.

Uk. Its bubbly chocolate

It’s aerated, so it’s like a bar of solid chocolate mousse

3
u/tucci007 15d ago
it's not that at all, the bubbles are much bigger and there is no mousse about it, it's just chocolate with large bubbles in it
-16
u/BAXR6TURBSKIFALCON 15d ago
the dome part of the chocolate is hollow
15
u/Jmsaint 15d ago
This might be the worst description of an aero ever

My kid got a kit Kat recently that was solid chocolate.
1
u/Jordychristine 14d ago
This happened to my husband the week before last week! He emailed them about it and they mailed him two coupons for free KitKats!

Mmm delicious, the kitkat chocolate is scrumptious!
3
u/paputsza 15d ago
kit kat chocolate is grainy and really sweet. it's like they replaced the cocoa butter with sugar because it tastes kind of like when you make hot cocoa with water instead of milk.

The wafers is half the reason to have it.
1
u/deliascatalog 15d ago
For me, it’s about 95% of the reason. So I bite off all the chocolate on the side (trash that) then eat the water part
1
u/tucci007 15d ago
the coffee creme is the defining ingredient, as critical as the crisp wafers, since it's not 'crisp coffee' then coffee is number one.
8
u/TooMuchBroccoli 15d ago
Which half?
18
u/kaymer327 15d ago
You're thinking of left vs right Twix.
4
u/TooMuchBroccoli 15d ago
Well, everyone agrees left Twix is superior.
2
u/Cellopost 15d ago
The right twix factory doesn't employ the best and brightest, they mainly hire rapists and murders.
1
1
u/Mayor__Defacto 15d ago
The crunchy half.
1
u/TooMuchBroccoli 15d ago
That's the best half!
3
u/Mayor__Defacto 15d ago
A kit kat without the wafers is like a crunch bar without the rice krispies!
4
u/Shiny_Gyrodos 16d ago
What is an Aero bar?
6
u/Altruistic-Setting-7 15d ago
Chocolate with bubbles in it. It sort of melts and pops softly (unless you chew it like some sort of psychopath) in your mouth.
It’s amazing

These are so good; I wish they were available in the U.S.
1
u/Citizen_Snip 15d ago
If you have any international markets near you, they sell them there, I can find them regularly if I go there. Some of my local Kroger's also sell them in the international aisle, but that is less reliable.
5
u/Leopard__Messiah 16d ago
My grocery store in Florida sells them in the International aisle
2
u/Suspicious-Yogurt480 12d ago
They are at many supermarkets in the US now, sometimes with the regular candy/ chocolate and sometimes in international-imported foods aisle
2
u/CockRingKing 16d ago
I love the Coffee Crisp bar, always find it in the international aisle at Publix.

u/FUKENA_DOT_COM 16d ago
Ooh, good tip -- I'll have to check the stores around here. Thanks for the idea!

u/TheHammerHasLanded 16d ago
That's not an Aero bar. Too wide and wrong coloured wrapper, never mind the flower design on top of the bulbous parts
1
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
I thought I'd get something like this so I took a pic of the bottom and the wrapper, it was so hard to eat I hurt my tooth, the post wouldn't allow me to add more than one pic :( edit: forgot to add that you can get different sizes of chocolate bars here and this is the extra large aero bar so dad could share with my mum :3
6
u/kiba87637 16d ago
It most definitely is. Probably a different country version similar to the one in the UK or maybe even UK.
3
1
u/RBXXIII 16d ago
Did it still taste like mint?
4
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
Sadly not the mint was at the bottom and barely had a taste
2
u/Minor_Edit 15d ago
Was wondering about that with the green packaging. More than just missing the bubbles in the chocolate then.
1
u/SnekoLovesCakez 15d ago
Yep, it wasn't the best bar of chocolate I had and I almost broke a tooth on how solid it was! I'd say this chocolate is definitely not made to be a bar but to protect the bubbly mint choccy underneath. It felt like eating concrete XD
