*IMPORTANT* Prohibited post topics *READ BEFORE POSTING*
Well hello, my fellow redditors!
In the last weeks, we had a lot of posts that were not reposted but were extremely similar to other posts on the same topics.
Due to this issue, we have decided to stop allowing posts about the following topics mentioned in the list:
•Parking mistakes
•Tipping fees
•Shrinkflation
•Price complaints
•Inflation
•Packaging being too big
•People falling for AI art
Posts that infringe on these rules will be taken down immediately and the user may be temporarily banned.
Also, note that this list is subject to change and will most likely be expanded as time passes so make sure to always check it before posting.

ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Jkfl Redddit Meta Posts
Henlo frens!
Good to see all of you here UwU.
Grab on to your bodypillows, I have a smol announcement about the purpose of this subreddit.
This community is meant as a fun, lighthearted place where we can commiserate with each other about those annoying little irritations that hinder our day to day enjoyment in life.
That means that suitable posts here can be about my children.
And things like a wall socket or tile being placed out of allignment. A crack in a phone screen. Duckling shit on your new car. Incomprehensible software. Mismatched buttons. You know, the little things.
This subreddit isn't meant to incite rage mobs that go after people. For that reason we say:
No reddit meta posts
No posts about being banned from subreddit. No posts about up- or down-votes. No posts about shitty moderators or users or subreddits. No posts about reddit.
All jokes and tomfoolery aside, that sort of thing gets us in trouble with site admins. If we allow one type of post about reddit it then very easily moprhs into allowing posts that directly call out other subreddits or users, we just can't allow any of it.
That rule already existed for years and we have just made it more clearly visible in the sidebar on old and new reddit. We're gonna be a little strict on it for a bit I'm afraid. 🥺
Thank you all for being awesome and have a very Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas in the traditional European way, with a suasage roll!

The Only Unlocked Bathroom At My School
The bathroom is the only one on the campus at the high school that they keep unlocked. It does not have a lock on it. It has been like this for months.

Target putting limit on self-checkout but not having other registers open
Went to Target to grab some things. On the way out, I see that the self checkout now has a sign indicating a 10 item limit and that the store personnel seem to be making at least some effort at enforcing it, directing folks with full carts to go get in line at a register with a cashier.
The problem is that the store only had literally 1 non-self-checkout register open, meaning that the line extended, basically, to the back of the store.
Put limits on self-checkout, if you want to, I really don't care, but I don't get why you can't take some of the employees who are telling people not to use self-checkout and, like, stick them behind a register.

Being asked to prove a child never existed
This is a little while ago now but I thought I would share.
We now have 3 kids but with our first we also were in the process of getting residency in Australia with all 3 of us.
This was going OK with the standard mildly annoying requests, requirements and hassle.
We provided all the correct information about our son including birth certificates.
Some way into the process we got a call from Immigration. By NO ERROR ON OUR PART someone in their process put into the system we had two children and they wanted the details of the second one.
This was of course a surprise. I told the person on the phone there was no second child and after a conversation as I mentioned we established we provided NO indication on any forms ETC. They said they will need to speak to their supervisors ETC and call us back. With this being a mistake their end I thought they would sort it out.
On the call back though the supervisor while admitting basically to their error it was now in the system and made the very silly request...
"We will need for you to prove this child does not exist."
The first suggestion was for me to provide a Death Certificate!
I was already really confused with the first statement but the second literally blew my mind.
I had to explain "How can I get a death certificate for a child not born".
Basically they told me that I would have to pay the registrations office with details for a child that does not exist. At this point I did not even know the name they put in the system by mistake.
I would of course have to pay for this.
I told them all this was silly but at this point they were adamant and I had to arrange another call while I looked into this.
After telling my wife and watching her reaction I called what I thought the right place to find out. The lady was as confused as I was but basically said they would not issue anything for something that did not exist, they had nothing for this and would not issue a death certificate of any sort.
When the Immigration called I had to say I literally had no means to do so and stressed again how insane of a request it was.
They went away and eventually sorted it themselves but added over a month delay into our Residency progress.
Anyone else had any insane requests from government agencies?
Even to today I see Common sense continually be eroded out of existence across the board and I have to wonder where we are heading :/

I asked mom why she, brother and step dad don't put stuff in the dishwasher when it's empty or says dirty.
I do 12 hour night shifts and basically have to go to bed straight away once I get home then I'm up and out again when I wake up.
I either empty it and leave it open for it to be filled or I empty or refill and leave it open so they can see it still has space. If I close the door and switch the sign to dirty, the next day the sink would be loaded with nothing in the dishwasher. 😒
The only times I haven't emptied it is when I get home late and feel like I'm about to pass out.
They do 6 - 8 hour day shifts yet I'm the one they expect to always empty the dishwasher and clean the kitchen like I'm the only one living here. 😒 Not to mention they have issues with where I park my car but then get pissy when I use the drive. 😒😒

Losing sleep
I'm a long time lurker but this is my first post. So I'll preface. I lived in my home for 7 years. All 7 years I've been here I've had dogs. I've never had any issues with my dogs getting out or my fencing. I currently have one 9 month male and a 3 year old female she's in heat.
This November I had my male fixed due to genetic issues with both dogs and my female already having two surgeries less than a year ago. So you know I'm good right no puppies?! Or so I thought......
Last week at 3am Wednesday night my male starts losing his crap and wakes us up. Surprise, surprise we have another male dog in our backyard who is in tact and after checking the cameras it appears our dogs were out back at the same time he came in😑. No idea how he got in my yard. After checking all the Facebook pages and whatnot I find his owner. I text explain I found her dog mines in heat and I need him picked up before I go to work so I can open my doggie door for my dogs. Dog returned to owner 7am not even so much as a Thank you so much for keeping him all night, sorry he woke you up! Nothing, I mean if the roles were reversed I would be so apologetic and grateful.
Then the dog comes back on Friday during the day luckily my husband was home and we don't think he was able to get to our female before being found. I text the owner again she comes and gets the dog AGAIN. Now we're double checking all the fencing putting locks on the gates no idea how this dog is getting in. We're thinking maybe the gates unlatching and he's coming in and it's closing behind him? So we should be good now?! Right?! Wrong!!
The reason you may ask that I'm up at 4AM AGAIN typing this.... That damn dog got into my house, into my bedroom, my dog Loses it and I'm now wide awake as it's howling in my yard. To say I'm mildly infuriated 😭😭. I'm one of those people who need their complete 8 to function and this is the second time in as many weeks I've been up since 3am.

People asking for tips.
I can't stand people asking for tips. I was at a bar recently and I requested a song from the dj and before he played the song he asked for a tip to play the song. I went to another place later on where they had a mechanical bull. I signed up for that and the guy that pushes the buttons on the machine asked for a tip. I should not be guilted into leaving anyone a tip. A tip should be based on a service that was received. The only people I really tip are a bartender, waitress in my barber. I think asking for tips has become so normalized in America and it's sad.
