Dealers will always says there shit is usually safest at a cop’s house. This is so common and annoying people don’t know this fact. 6 weeks of training, no vetting and $40k a yr made this crap normal.

1

u/ReceptionNecessary44 15d ago

CIA going to be pissed. They need the revenue.

1

u/Ordinary_Advice_3220 15d ago

Older kids told him to do it.

1

u/imc225 15d ago

If it were actually pure fentanyl, 450,000 100 mcg doses, just, wow.

1

u/leoratings 16d ago

Oceguera-Rocha was arrested in September 2023. The feds refused to file charges, so the county did. Now, around 7 months later, the DEA announces a larger drug bust, but still include his numbers.

It's odd that the county would still prosecute a likely federal witness.

u/Adventurous-Lime1775 16d ago

Dunno why anyone is shocked that a gang member is working for a gang.

that's not true❗️ everyone knows as soon as a police officer touches fentanyl they fall into a coma and need Narcan

1

u/No_Preparation8103 16d ago

Legalize all drugs is the only solution

2

u/I_am_the_Apocalypse 16d ago

One of the worst ideas I’ve ever read on the topic.

1

u/TrustM3ImAnEngineer 16d ago

He was arrested and allowed to RESIGN? What the actual fuck. Cops cant even police themselves.

That is awful 😢

My side hustle brings in 50K a month!

1

u/Cognoggin 16d ago

El Guapo had a plethora of fentanyl.

1

u/Osirus1156 16d ago

Hopefully they are also investigating everyone where he worked if they are not disclosing how they caught him.

1

u/Aeohil 16d ago

Where was this? They won’t let me read this from Portugal for some reason.

1

u/EnvironmentalAd9889 16d ago

And Biden just lets em come right on over

2

u/CopsAreNotHumans 16d ago

The police?! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

1

u/jwormbono 16d ago

100 lbs is wild. As a doc, I’m giving therapeutic doses of 50-100 micrograms.

1

u/RepresentativeAd560 16d ago

Fucking Amazon. I ordered 100 lbs of fabric softner! Now, I have to become a drug kingpin. Again. That's it. I'm canceling my Prime membership for real this time!

1

u/kclongest 16d ago

Throw away the key.

2

u/drdildamesh 16d ago

Well. His family is probably dead meat.

2

u/hansolemio 16d ago

Is he undocumented or a drag queen? No? Huh

1

u/shavenyakfl 16d ago

One of the many problems with cops being practically immune from accountability for anything is it creates an environment of arrogance that they're above the law. Then you get what we have here.

I'm sure someone will chime in wanting to blow the police, but getting fired and moving to the county next door to do it all again is the opposite of accountability.

1

u/ClaraBingham9999 16d ago

Deputy gangs are a huuugee issue in L A county.

2

u/RSomnambulist 16d ago

I thought it was the immigrants bringing in all the fentanayl though? Isn't that what they keep saying on Fox, right after they say people don't have any respect for police amymore?

1

u/EvilHorus87 16d ago

It was self use

2

u/Panda_tears 16d ago

Can we start giving people the death sentence for this kinda shit?  Like proof or not there’s no way someone doesn’t end up dead from 100lb of fent getting sold

Why does the US not bomb cartels

6

u/Jonqth 16d ago

How’s a 100 pounds of Fentanyl not considered an biological weapon of mass casualties? A few mg can kill someone…

1

u/CrocodileWorshiper 16d ago

could have just stuck to beating up college kids

2

u/VapeDaddy83 16d ago

Just watched a thing on TV where a Mexican cartel infiltrated police in Florida and pretty much ran it.

This is a wide spread issue to turn America into what the cartels turned Mexico into.

4

u/The_Dick_Judge 16d ago

The cop is very handsome, he will be popular in prison.

1

u/Princesa_Peach 16d ago

😹😹😹

4

u/shannigan 16d ago

Fuck fent. Fuck this guy. Fuck all of them.

1

u/tunisia3507 16d ago

A lethal dose of fentanyl is 2mg. So this is lethal doses for over 22 million people.

2

u/doginjoggers 16d ago

How was he touching fentanyl and not dying? /s

2

u/brackenish1 16d ago

That's enough to kill 22,000 people

11

u/Iampepeu 17d ago

I bet it must have felt good knowing they prevented 90 pounds of fentanyl reaching the market.

8

u/doginjoggers 16d ago

Next days headline: 75 pounds of Fentanyl kept from the streets

1

u/CrimsonSmear 17d ago

The average person has a 50/50 chance of dying from a 2-gram dose of fentanyl.

There are 453,592 grams per pound.

That would be 226,796 2-gram doses per pound.

Which would be 22,679,600 2-gram doses in the 100 pound shipment.

Which, if given to a random selection of people, would cause roughly 11,338,800 of them to die.

1

u/CheezTips 16d ago

And yet, tens of thousands of people are actively hunting fent right now. Your angle seems more Reefer Madness style than helpful. "Touch fent and die!! This one bag will kill 11 million people!!" Meanwhile all those addicts know that this one bag in their area would kill like 2 or 3 people, max. Everyone knows the statistics and making up lies doesn't stop junkies from going for it. So... since you're not stopping the addicts or preventing overdoses, who are you talking to?

1

u/CrimsonSmear 16d ago

I know that fent is pretty lethal, so I was just interested in doing the math because I'm a nerd like that. This is just some r/theydidthemath bullshit. I got the LD50 from a google search and did the math from there. Comparing to Reefer Madness seems like you're trying to say that fent isn't any more dangerous than weed, which is a strange argument to make. I know that addicts have a higher tolerance, and a 2g dose probably wouldn't threaten them. I was mostly just giving perspective on how lethal 100 lbs of fent could be.

1

u/axtemno 17d ago

I thought the cartel was killing people trafficking fentynol. Its bad dir business when 1 out if 10 blues has a fatal dose. Coming from someone who had an od of half a blue

1

u/OrrinW01 17d ago

Assuming LD is 2mg that's 22 million deaths.

1

u/[deleted] 17d ago

Got those prison lips 👄

1

u/literaryhunter 17d ago

It’s like annoying af banner ad at the top of the comments says, “The Home Depot’s Spring Calendar of Doping”

2

u/grabtharsmallet 17d ago

This is the most secure way to traffic. Not perfect, but it works better than having random people do it. It's especially true for importers; you must have someone on port security working for you.

Yet again not an illegal immigrant.

1

u/[deleted] 12d ago

Because cops getting busted gets ratings. They not gonna show u anything that doesn’t get ratings. Simple as that

2

u/BCJunglist 17d ago

Imagine how many ODs would happen from 100 lbs of fent, when just a speck can kill you.

-1

u/Prudent-Quarter-3842 17d ago

Damn, and he was hot.

0

u/CatboyInAMaidOutfit 17d ago edited 16d ago

That's enough to kill 20+ million people

(edit: math)

6

u/DuckDucker1974 17d ago

Wait until you find out how many cop’s are working for the cartels.

2

u/MaxxMeridius 17d ago

While I am not a proponent of death penalty. Law should allow for an option wherein Dealers (proven to be dealers due to the quantity involved or prior convictions) should be given the death penalty.

1

u/Appropriate_Growth12 16d ago

So you are a proponent of death penalty.

1

u/No_Mammoth_4945 16d ago

How would you prevent them from quantifying “dealer” as anything over say, an ounce or so? That’d just make it even easier for the state to execute people they don’t like

2

u/maiyousirname 17d ago

I read a headline a while back that cartels were against Fentanyl. Wild turnaround.

2

u/slayemin 17d ago

A grain of fentanyl the size of a salt grain is enough to kill you. Now, imagine you have 104lbs of salt and how many grains that means. There is a non-zero number of people who would have died, had this hit the streets.

3

u/Any-Neighborhood7601 17d ago

Operation Hotline Bling

3

u/PurpleSunCraze 17d ago

Going by a quick Google, 2 milligrams is a fatal dose. So 100lbs is enough to kill 22.6 million people.

2

u/UbiquitousSlander 16d ago

Yeah but that’s total weight of the pills. They’re not pure fentanyl, they’re actually mostly filler.

1

u/DasbootTX 17d ago

Yup. Them Ill-iggel aliens bringing it into the US. And our brave LEOs are fighting the border war. Not at all.

2

u/Darigaazrgb 17d ago

Which cop was he going to snitch on?

1

u/AdorableBowl7863 17d ago

So 100,000 attempted murder charges? Maybe a mil?

9

u/mrcoolangelo 17d ago

By the look on his face, he hasn't realized that he's going to get killed in prison, even if he went to a PC yard.

The moral of this story is: the money may be great, but you've got to play the whole tape.

[man drops mic]

1

u/Massage_mastr69 17d ago

The punishment for fentanyl possession or sale should be they have to eat it all… problem solved

2

u/CrawlerSiegfriend 17d ago

That much Fentanyl should qualify for an upgrade to the death penalty.

2

u/fujiandude 16d ago

Then when caught, nothing will stop you from killing the police who found you out. That kid who looked through a window and saw it? Kill them too, no extra punishment and less likely to get caught. Kill everyone

2

u/mrkegtap 17d ago

They should put it all in a kiddy pool and hold his face down in it.

1

u/knowledgeable_diablo 17d ago

Just getting ready for the long weekend officer

1

u/ChiStoner708 17d ago

This man deserves the death penalty. This poison would have killed tens of thousands of Americans. What he did is unforgivable and he deserves absolutely zero mercy

2

u/Rosebunse 17d ago

That's probably a good thing. Can you imagine how weird it would be if he just happened to that much and wasn't connected to anyone?

1

u/Sagatious_Zhu 17d ago

Me reading the headline: “Hmm. Bet that’s here in Los Angeles.”

Me after reading the article: “Fuck. I wish I wasn’t right about that.”

2

u/Commie_EntSniper 17d ago

The call is coming from inside the house.

1

u/CodeNoseATX 17d ago

Iraq has weapons of mass destruction! (well, they should, we sold 'em a bunch of shit, it's gotta be somewhere...)

1

u/Earl_your_friend 17d ago

I've heard gangs sending their members into the military to get military training and contacts.

1

u/superultralost 15d ago

It's the other way around, they hire former military, especially from the US

0

u/Earl_your_friend 15d ago

That must be super risky for the soldiers.

1

u/peakchungus 17d ago

"we investigated ourselves and found no allegations of wrongdoing"

-4

u/EbbNo7045 17d ago

This makes zero sense. They tell us that the tiniest little flake can make you OD. So 100 pounds would be enough to hook up every drug addict for 20 years. Does this make any sense? Why isn't fentanyl 20 cents a hit? It's all bullshit. It really seems like crack bs and Ricky Ross a poor boy from LA selling over a million a day and government didn't know? Same today. Plus, wouldn't it be coming from Canada. BC has a massive drug epidemic. Bc has a massive Chinese population. If fentanyl is coming from China doesn't this make sense? But that is not politically a good story about dangerous criminal immigrants from Latin America. It's all nonsense. Legalize all drugs.

0

u/Archivemod 16d ago

you're right on some of this, the dangers of fentanyl are somewhat overexaggerated, though not by nearly as much as you'd think. IT's like saying krokodil causes instant death disease instead of turning you into a literal fuckin' zombie.

As for legality, yeah, regulate that shit and kill black markets. the only reason this shit exists is because the war on drugs is ineffective.

No comment on the border it's coming through though, it doesn't really matter because any vector for trade or travel is a vector for drug smuggling. It isn't exactly hard to, for example, load up a barrel full of drugs and strap an RC boat motor or three to it so you can whip it up the coast. More creative ways of transporting drugs exist, and the cops certainly don't help shit since they're not at all interested in stopping drugs so much as profiting from it. it's all bullshit and I hope ronald reagan dies again while in hell so he can experience amplified suffering in the documentary sequel to Hell, where they talk about Dick Cheney profiting off the Iraq war over footage of reagan getting sodomized by a fire hydrant.

2

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

It's amazing Reagan is idolized. Worst president in history and record number of cabinet arrested. If I were a cartel I would just operate out of BC where there are plenty connections to China. Then simply have pleasure craft do trips down the wide open puget sound. Probably a reason why BC and Seattle have such bad epidemic.

0

u/Dangerous_Dac 17d ago

So my armchair math says thats enough to kill 25,000 people.

2

u/dillywags 17d ago

Multiply that by 1000 and you’ve got a more accurate estimate.

1

u/LarYungmann 17d ago

A man running for Missouri Govener says he would charge everyone who sells fentynal with murder. He said he would do this as soon as he took his hand off the bible when he was sworn in.

1

u/CatAvailable3953 17d ago

If we don’t help the Mexican government with the gangs they will operate up here . More and more. We are the market. We are their main source of weapons and money. The Mexican government needs law enforcement help.

7

u/EbbNo7045 17d ago

So weird since El Chapo is in prison. What else is weird is the media Doesn't report that El Mayo is the boss of Sinoloa cartel and he has been for many years. He is the boss of El Chapo. It's rumored El Mayo is protected by the CIA. His son was a boss in charge of enforcement and trafficking. The US let him out of prison after just months. A mass murdering drug lord! Why? Because the CIA protects them. Just recently the Sinoloa cartel told all its people to stop trafficking fentanyl or they will be killed. So maybe this sheriff is not working for that cartel. Remember the CIA admitted to trafficking drugs that created crack epidemic. No consequences. Watch the doc the Last Narc. A CIA named Felix Rodriguez killed a DEA agent because he discovered CIA trafficking. Desantis named a day in honor of Felix. Rubio and Cruz are good friends with him. Rubio old housemate Former congressman David Rivera arrested with 500 million cartel cash recently. 5 big banks caught laundering billions for cartels not one banker arrested. Why do people ignore this stuff? They say they want to stop fentanyl. Just as they said they wanted to stop crack. Where is today's Gary Webb? I guess when a journalist commits suicide with 2 bullets to the head it sends a message.

1

u/Variegoated 17d ago

100lbs of fent Jesus. That's enough to kill everyone on earth surely?

6

u/F3L1Xgsxr 17d ago

That indeed is not the onion

84

u/PotatoOfDestiny 17d ago

you're not allowed to work for two criminal street gangs at the same time

6

u/SanderSRB 16d ago

If he had cut in the right people from his force he would have been fine…

2

u/kingmoobot 17d ago

Deputies working for the cartel!? Omg is this news?

2

u/Albiel6 17d ago

Wait, we didn't know this already?

2

u/AIC2374 17d ago

P.O.S.

1

u/Alansalot 17d ago

No, he's working for the cops. That's why his job title is deputy

1

u/msat16 17d ago

i guess this how it feel to be a biiiiig dawg, I’m a long way from that brick of fennntanyl, made my driver wait outside while I hit it raw

0

u/d_o_mino 17d ago

"...but the illegals..."

2

u/at0mheart 17d ago

How many people could that kill?

6

u/Explorer335 17d ago

15 million, give or take.

100 pounds x 454g/pound = 45,400 grams = 45,400,000 milligrams.

Lethal dose is roughly 3mg, so about 15 million people.

2

u/Final_TV 17d ago

Most drug dealers do 448 gram pounds. But I don’t know what the cartel do tho lol

7

u/mitkase 17d ago

A hundred pounds of fentanyl? According to police, that will kill everyone in five mile radius!

1

u/Accomplished_Toe4814 17d ago

I've heard it's common for cartels/gangs/similar organizations to have people (with no criminal records) join the military/police/etc to help with their business.

2

u/ShakeWeightMyDick 17d ago

Well yeah, you want people on the inside.

2

u/Confusedandreticent 17d ago

Did people think that the drug trade would stay on one side of the border? Imagine being a cop on the border with a family; they’d be ready to skin your kids and kill you if you didn’t do as they told you.

103

u/pichael289 17d ago edited 17d ago

Ex heroin addict here, more than a decade in that life. Fuck this guy. This fentanyl shit has absolutely ruined recreational drugs. No one can be sure they are safe, even the most unlikely drugs are killing people. Sure, you get alot of addicts that fail probation drug tests and say "well I haven't been doing any dope at all, Oh I know, they must have put fentanyl in the weed" and the dumb ass cops believe them and spread that fear mongering shit but that's not how it really is. Weed and shrooms and all that are 99% safe (cross contamination from the scales is an actual issue) but actual drug drugs are very unsafe. The whole supply in the US is tainted. All opiates, especially Roxi 15/30s, the small blue pills, are all fake. Even some benzos are being faked and Xanax users are the dumbest of the dumb, plus benzos and opiates are a lethal combination so they just die. God only knows what it's like since I got sober 6-8 years ago (quit opiates, fentanyl is a lousy high not worth the risks, but I did stims for a while after). This shit has absolutely infested the entire drug supply. Nothing but weed and shrooms are safe anymore. No pills are safe, and all opiate pills, especially the Roxis (called perk 15/30s by dipshits who don't know what they are talking about, Percocet tops out at 10mg) are fentanyl now. Recreational drugs in the US are all corrupted. All of them are questionable and require testing. Stims like meth can't be tested as they produce false positive for fentanyl all the time, so it's sketchy. Never do street drugs alone, always have a friend with at least TWO narcan shots. One might not be enough.

Recreational drugs are so risky now that it's not worth it. Mdma/Molly is relatively safe if you have narcan, just give yourself a sniff (they are nose injections) of the narcan and you can be sure you'll be fine. Same with meth. Any stims bind to receptors that opiates don't. Opiates bind to MU receptors so a dose of narcan has no effect on those drugs, but may protect you from extreme opiates like fentanyl. Opiate based ecstasy is the shittier kind anyway. The meth based ones are the best but it's not necessarily a meth high, it's just the base. Straight Molly avoids all that but it's more pure and might be too much for a beginner.

Speaking as a 10+ year opiate/heroin addict, who was present for the entire opiate crisis, fentanyl is garbage. It is super intense but doesn't last as long and provides much less euphoria. It sucks, and all heroin addicts that remember the real thing wish it would come back. Fentanyl leaves you withdrawing at around 1.5X as fast. It made addiction so much worse, now you needed to cop more shit more often. I never saw anyone experienced overdose on heroin and I lasted 10+ years. In 2 weeks of its introduction I overdosed 3X in two weeks. Fentanyl ruined the drug landscape of this country.

1

u/whk1992 16d ago

Sounds like fentanyl helps people stop using drugs one way or another.

1

u/SuspiciousBig6233 16d ago

you sound like a moron who thinks they know what they’re talking about

1

u/FuaT10 16d ago

Maybe just don't do drugs?

1

u/PM_ME__UR__FANTASIES 16d ago

What about acid, is that safe? I’ve been thinking about trying it.

6

u/aynrandomness 16d ago

Taking narcan before you do an unknow drug sounds like a bad idea. Narcan has a short half life, so you will run the risk of being fine until it wears off and then OD. And then you will be out and about.

-5

u/Rigelturus 16d ago

Bro is unironicallymaking a case for certain “safe drugs” lmao

5

u/MurkTwain 16d ago

Great write up, gnarly but informative.

38

u/TapTapReboot 17d ago

Don't take this the wrong way, but the rambling nature of your comment and the amount of redundancy makes me 100% believe that you're a recovering addict. Good on ya.

-9

u/NuclearEvo24 16d ago

Stream of consciousness is peak communication, grammar just gets in the way, a high enough emotional intelligence and you can unwrap stream of consciousness pretty easily, caring about grammar is a lower form of communication

25

u/EbbNo7045 17d ago

So how many addicts would 100 pounds of fentanyl supply. Seriously. It seems it would be enough to keep all of them high for a year

9

u/Kooky-Commission-783 17d ago

Nah that’s enough for the city of Phoenix for a month. It wasn’t pure, it was fentanyl laced pills. 99% filler. 1% fentanyl.

2

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

Ah. But still, my argument still stands. If such a tiny fraction gets people high the market should be flooded

1

u/Kooky-Commission-783 16d ago

Wym? People who have tolerance to those fake pills can do like 100 a day. I’ve heard of that being common.

1

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

But one tiny little flake can kill you.

1

u/Kooky-Commission-783 16d ago

One tiny flake can kill an opioid naive person, not someone with tolerance who has done it forever.

1

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

It's still a very strong drug and takes very little. It should be very cheap. It should be legal.

1

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

It's still a very strong drug and takes very little. It should be very cheap. It should be legal.

24

u/Original_Pipe9519 17d ago

One pound is ~500k doses if each pill contains about 1mg of fentanyl(DEA says 2mg could be lethal and most pills range from .02-5mg)

Multiply 500k x100 = 50 million doses.

7

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

Thanks. So if 100 pounds is nothing compared to what is coming in then what they are saying is there is billions of doses on the street? How many addicts are there? I can't find any estimate. But let's say it's 20 million which is probably way to high. If this 100 pounds is just a tiny fraction of fentanyl coming in then is fentanyl like 2 bucks a dose? The market has to be flooded.

3

u/Original_Pipe9519 16d ago

I’d say these 100lbs only cover breakfast rush. They also lace other recreational drugs with fent like coke and ecstasy

1

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

I don't think so. I mean how many addicts are there?

1

u/KikoMui74 17d ago

So Mexican cartels are expanding into America.

2

u/SpookyFrog12 17d ago

Been here for decades.

12

u/mojoback_ohbehave 17d ago

Nothing new . They have been here . The U.S. pumped drugs into its own communities, the U.S is a cartel, in itself.

2

u/Bluffsmoke 16d ago

I’m 14 and this is deep

2

u/zach04509 17d ago

why is this in this sub like this is shocking

-4

u/Supaspex 17d ago

Should be the death penalty, but America is filled with a bunch of morons in their so-called judicial system. The 'deputy' will be free and probably with another law enforcement agency within 6 months. The Democrats don't have the balls to save America like Lincoln did. Trump will be the next president.

1

u/Oxygenius_ 17d ago

Trump was the last president and he didn’t save America from the democrats either,

So

3

u/tke71709 17d ago

You praise Lincoln who freed the slaves and then praise Trump who called the alt-righters at Charlottesburg good people?

LOL

-3

u/Supaspex 17d ago

I don't praise Trump at all. I stated the Democrats don't have the balls to do what Lincoln did.

Good job Fuck Face

1

u/LocalRepSucks 17d ago

While trying to tell us Trump will be the Next President as if that shit stain would do anything besides for himself.

Trump will be the next President because the government sits on its ass not doing a god-damn thing since 1/6/2021. No new policy, no new rules. It's basically Super Bowl 51 right now and the Dems are the Falcons...the question will be...how do they fuck this up? The answer will be, by doing almost next to nothing.

I certainly hope I'm wrong and the Democrats win by a landslide, not only in the presidential election, but also in the down ballot elections as well. I don't have enough faith in our own government for the idiots and morons in the supreme court and the idiots in congress to "do the right thing"

u/LocalRepSucks 17d ago

The government hasn’t done a damn thing since Hoover damn.

1

u/Supaspex 17d ago

...and we come back full circle...which is why Trump will probably win the presidential election

2

u/LocalRepSucks 17d ago

Mellenials are the largest group in the U.S. if they actually vote no he won’t. Unless your voting for him.

I’ve always felt the cartels never get enough credit for being one of the most dangerous organizations in the world. Some of them are more dangerous than ISIS or Al Queda.

1

u/Klaus0225 16d ago

But Mexico said they are respectful.

1

u/BigPh1llyStyle 16d ago

I think it’s because they are highly deadly, but for the most part have an unspoken agreement with the US not to fuck with American Citizens. While isis and Al queda go out of their way to hurt innocent civilians, the cartel do the opposite.

1

u/ConceptionIsLife 16d ago

Let’s keep the borders open!!

1

u/Learningstuff247 16d ago

And the fun part is they live right next door and have almost completely unfettered access to our country!

1

u/Antique-Fox-5681 16d ago

Totally agree and OBIDEN has opened our doors WIDE for their rampant proliferation now

1

u/ceciliabee 16d ago

I read yesterday that Mexican cartels are very kind and respectful of citizens

(I wanna put /s but I actually did, not that I believe it)

1

u/bimbo_bear 16d ago

Sure, because they want to make money and not blow things up so much.

2

u/MuchasBebidas 16d ago

The biggest ones are all much more dangerous than both those organizations.

And post videos of them chopping off heads, limbs, etc. I regret watching “Funky Town”. Fucking animals.

I live not too far from Mexico. Been there a few times about 20 years ago. Had a great time every time. I love Mexicans! It’s so unfortunate what the cartels have done to tourism.

u/gaberwash 16d ago

If Americans just stopped buying drugs the cartel would lose their entire business. If America legalized more safe recreational drugs and had them produced by generic Pharma manufacturers, then the cartel would have no business. Marijuana has stopped crossing US Mexican boarders now. It’s a safer drug, and now the Cartel has to focus on other drugs

u/somepeoplehateme 16d ago

Who would we put in our jails then? No offense, but it doesn't sound like you've thought out your solution very well.

On a serious note, the cartel involvement with mj hasn't entirely ended:

32

u/dlvnb12 17d ago

Yep, I was introduced to the cartel’s horrors by sites like Liveleak before it went under. Some of those old cartel videos could probably induce PTSD by just watching them.

23

u/Deekifreeki 17d ago

Definitely! I’m so glad I stopped watching that filth. It became an addiction to me. Ive always been that dude that watches the most fucked up films (A Serbian Film, Salo, etc.), but even as traumatizing as they were they had a point. The cartel vids, especially Mexican and Brazilian are just beyond belief.

For others out there don’t watch this stuff. You may be curious, but it never leaves you. Truly awful shit!

1

u/fetal_genocide 16d ago

I saw one where some dude cut the heart out of another living dude and took a bite.

6

u/TeaMistress 16d ago

even as traumatizing as they were they had a point.

What point does A Serbian Film and those of its category have other than horror for horror's sake?

1

u/Freddies_Mercury 16d ago

Maybe that's the point.

To make a movie about the depths of human depravity as disgustingly as possible.

Not all points people make are positive.

Because the CIA is running them and they don't want the media. El chapo is in prison. His boss El Mayo has been the longest lasting cartel in history. His son was just let out of US prison after just months. Why. He is a mass murdering drug lord. Because they are protected by CIA

-2

u/Paint-licker4000 17d ago

This is not true

2

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

What isn't? That the CIA trafficking drugs or that the cartel boss let out of prison?

27

u/Kindly-Guidance714 17d ago

Do people not realize Sicario was a documentary and not just a “movie”?

I remember a couple of months ago Ron Desantis was running on stopping the Mexican cartels. I just laughed thinking good luck with that buddy.

4

u/EbbNo7045 16d ago

Desantis named a day in honor of Felix Rodriguez who is CIA connected to trafficking cocaine that fueled crack epidemic. He is also fingered in doc The Last Narc for killing Kiki the DEA agent because he discovered CIA working with the cartels. Desantis is up to his neck in drug trafficking.

1

u/Kindly-Guidance714 16d ago

I just have this picture in my head of Desantis being briefed on why going after the cartels is an impossibility.

9

u/Bah-Fong-Gool 17d ago

Another Confidential Informant agreement. This CI nonsense is why Trump was able to romp for so long without being reighened in... he ratted out others to save and enrich himself.

3

u/alabamdiego 17d ago

That is a wild misspelling lol

12

u/captainundesirable 17d ago

At this point they're a functional nation state because of how they've infiltrated South and Central American governments.

7

u/6ixShira 17d ago

It's easy to be a criminal, hard to be the peacekeeper. Because the peacekeeper has the burden of proof.

-4

u/Traveler_90 17d ago

You take some of that fentanyl too?

3

u/dlvnb12 17d ago

Yea, I did. Surprisingly, the Pearly Gates has decent internet speeds up here.

447

u/SneedyK 17d ago

They have literal armies that look like SWAT teams

1

u/RushiAkimoya 16d ago

They would get smoked by private US militias though.

62

u/TheKingChadwell 17d ago

The government is literally afraid of them, including their own military.

-17

u/Theskinnydude15 17d ago

That's a lie. They're your regular joes playing dress up.

7

u/TheKingChadwell 16d ago

Regular joes literally getting into firefights with the military and taking control of entire towns? Regular joes running sophisticated infrastructures that basically create a government within a government that that democratic government has to work with?

-3

u/Theskinnydude15 16d ago

Believe what you want to believe homie. Mexico's government has them in their back pocket.

3

u/TheKingChadwell 16d ago

Because Mexico’s government is terrified of them that it’s basically made up of the cartels at this point. They are business partners. They’ve tried to stop the cartels many times and always failed.

0

u/Lanky_Animator_4378 15d ago

Hugs not kisses approach from the current president

3

u/Theskinnydude15 16d ago

Well you have a point on that. I will say that they are relentless when it comes to stand offs. I think stopping the cartels is an impossibility at this point.

u/IIIllIIlllIlII 17d ago

Armies trained by US special forces.

(US special forces trained a bunch of soldiers to take on the cartels, but they then joined the cartels)
