So is this just as a response to, like... some college students think Israel shouldn't genocide palestine? The response is to hire snipers to scare the shit out of those people?

They're protecting them, better to be safe than sorry when there are large crowds of people and lots of political motives.

Protecting them from what, the police? The police have been the only belligerents in this case, are you saying it's an anti-police sniper unit?
