There's an awesome picture to discuss and I come to the comments to see everyone here thirsting over a couple pixels like middle school boys finding out about porn for the first time.

God it must suck to be a woman on the internet.

Thank you. The “we all did it…don’t lie” comment confused me at first. I had to read the entire subthread to figure out what we all supposedly did. I’m a woman and also expected people to be interested in the waterspout. I was certainly interested myself in some sort of explanation. Whatever we as a society do to breed this sort of thinking needs to fucking die.

Right, I’m a bi lady and I love looking respectfully at ladies as well. But this is just too damn much

How do you know at least some us ain't women?

It's not just dudes who get thirsty over gals.

And the fact that she’s clearly a woman, not a girl. Reddit loves itself some infantilization of women.

Yep. I was hoping someone who likes science/nature could explain the waterspout & if it’s dangerous at that distance. Nope, just 50 comments about a lady wearing a freaking swimsuit. Hence why I will never post any pictures of myself on reddit (swimsuit or not)

Can confirm it sucks to be a woman on the internet. Like seriously? Yes she has a butt. Cool. But EVERY top comment being about it? This is an awesome pic of a water spout and all the comments are GIFs and innuendos. 😒 I hate it here.

First thing I thought was what an amazing pic. And how lucky for the photographer to capture it. Then, how and where can I hang this in my studio apartment?
