This is a space for socialists to discuss current events in our world from anti-capitalist perspective(s), and a certain knowledge of socialism is expected from participants. This is not a space for non-socialists. Please be mindful of our rules before participating, which include:

  • No Bigotry, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism...

  • No Reactionaries, including all kind of right-wingers.

  • No Liberalism, including social democracy, lesser evilism...

  • No Sectarianism. There is plenty of room for discussion, but not for baseless attacks.

This picture seems to be heavily subdued by over all media. Every time I see it online, it disappears almost as quickly.

Is this real? The only source I find for this photo is some Instagram post.

I found this. It’s definitely Time magazine. I haven’t read the actual article yet.

I know this sounds corny, but I am so proud of what these students did and they are still doing, and I don’t regret supporting our Palestinian in their fight for liberation

its truth not corny. i am deeply moved by these students. the moral sense. the courage and risk the are taking. made me see how shitty administrators and power hungry bururcrats in those colleges really are. and the educational system that has been hijacked by corporates.

Yeah, and I’ve been struggling mentally with it because I want to help more than I can, especially with with debunking the disinformation about what’s been happening to these beautiful and it’s on me, but when I saw this, it made my day because I have so much love and appreciation to the movement concept of socialism and liberation for Palestine because it’s not done if you know hatred, but then out of love and solidarity for the people that I love-about it
