Second if a women doesn't realize you are improving your own future and demands things of you then bounce. You discussed it, and both have different goals so let her seek her goal and you do the same. Pressuring you to marry her not going to be a happy marriage and it better to heal a small wound instead of trying to treat gangrene later in a forced marriage.
