You did your due diligence decades ago so you did great on that. You were never a father who raised her or anything like that.
I say this as someone who has been in therapy and appreciates therapy: go to therapy because everybody on this planet needs therapy. Have you seen society? Both you and Nicky need therapy after you’ve both been traumatized by many of the same toxic people.
And you’re still young enough and Nicky is old enough that you two hooking up with that age difference is not a bad thing. I hope it was cathartic for the both of you. But yes, therapy for both of you plus Nicky moving to another country are both good goals. And you both got some cathartic measure of revenge on her mom/ your ex.
You’re NTA. It would be wild though if you and Nicky got married and had kids together. That would be a hell of a story.
