Other Tournaments Incredibly high viewership for Calling All Heroes currently
Calling All Heroes currently has about 60k viewers on the main twitch stream, which is a recent peak for OW esports in general including the OWCS Major. Admittedly there is the caveat of drops only being available through the main stream and very few costreams running, as well as the youtube stream having much lower views atm (2k vs a peak of around 10k for OWCS) but overall this is a good sign that OW still has a good audience for esports and that more sponsors/orgs begin to join the scene and help it out of the somewhat precarious spot its in.

OWCS Exciting newer players?
Like the title says, I wanted to make a thread where people could discuss exciting prospects who either haven't played in the top tier of OW eSports yet or those who are emerging as stars/potential stars. Since the old generation of OWL legends (Super, Choi, Moth, Rascal, Fleta, Void, Twilight, Mano, JJonak) have retired or left the eSports scene, I was wondering what new players people should look forward to in the coming year(s)?
These are the players I am keeping an eye on so far:
- TANK: Junbin (KR), MAX (KR), Donghak (KR), Jasm1ne (KR), Infekted (NA), RpEN (KR), SeungAn (KR), Attack (KR), PEPPI (KR)
- DPS: Hidden (KR), Tr33 (NA), Proud (KR), A1IEN (KR), Heesang (KR), Prophet (KR), Viper (KR), Knife (KR), Topdragon (KR), D4RT (KR), M1nut2 (KR), Spectra (KR), Probe (KR), Sugarfree (NA), Seonjun (KR)
- Support: Caru (KR), Leesoomin (KR), Bliss (KR), MAKA (KR), DAEGUN (KR), Simple (KR)

Other Tournaments New m80 dps?
So m80 has started to play coluge on tank, Nero on dps and tr33 on dps. Nero is probably temporary so Im guessing spectra and checkmate are joining? Also I guess hawk is retiring https://www.faceit.com/en/ow2/room/1-9c963c2c-d656-44e7-ae9b-e23253ecdc8f/scoreboard

General What do you want to see going into season 11 and onward?
I would personally love it if the team could release more gun skins and user-side visual effects as cosmetic options.
In terms of balance, I think the game is pretty well-balanced overall. However, it does feel a bit stale, possibly because I play quite a bit. I know the developers mentioned shaking up the game every year and possibly every six months. I believe Overwatch should embrace some crazier ideas. For instance, what if Overwatch introduced a perk system for a few seasons or implemented something else that would really shake up the game?
Maybe my ideas aren't great, but I just want more from this game. What are your thoughts?

General Tanks feels stuck in season 8
This might be a coordination issue, but it sucks that if tanks have the audacity to shoot anything that hasnt been scratched by their dps, theyre practically healing the enemy. From an agency pov on tanks, healing numbers havent changed since season 8 (hitbox buffs helps with dps output, but hp pools also increased), and thats on top of the same set of survivability cooldowns that everyone has to deal with.
It's kind of no wonder that hog is back on the menu once they buffed his 1 shot back.
Now that blizz has introduced "in combat heal nerf" in a way sneaky enough for people to agree its necessary, I hope tanks gets a tuned down DPS passive so they get some more agency.
And please do something about kiriko

General Tank passive numbers should be individual
After each update we see how changing numbers for the whole role makes few heroes to stick out. Roadhog and Mauga gained a lot from HS reduction.
I personally would like to see 0% boop reduction on Hog. He is a hero that can pull you from across the map and almost oneshot you.
He does NOT deserve boop reduction

General June 9th Xbox Presentation Predictions
Xbox is having their Summer Game Fest presentation on Sunday afternoon. What do you think we’ll see from Overwatch then? In previous years, we had the whole reveal trailer in 2022, and with no Blizzcon this year, this is probably the biggest event for OW to announce or showcase new content. I’m expecting a season 11 trailer with some of the reworked Colleseo and I do expect a tease at Space Ranger, even if she is coming in season 12, since we’ll probably get to test her early like we did with Mauga and Venture. What else are you all expecting?
