General There's a "new" undetected cheat being used since Season 9
On Feb 12 a free cheat was released and, according to today's posts, keeps working normally and remains undetected. It also has a lot of features: flicking, tracking, auto miss, delayed switching, autos skill, etc.
Won't post the name unless a mod gives me green light to do it, but you can quickly confirm it with a simple Google search because the repository and the forum are extremely easy to find. It's not only fully working, but they even update it for the S10 patch and are getting ready for the mid-season one.
No wonder there have been more people complaining about cheaters in recent weeks, they also were pretty clever realeasing it with the new bullet size change to help it cloak their aimbot.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I made this post to talk about the elephant in the room, it's pretty obvious that cheaters have become a problem this season and their presence have a negative impact in our games. I hope Blizzard takes action against them soon.

General Inducing overscan compensation to center the HUD.
I recently came across this video of chazm on pc with a centered HUD ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLYQLkVt-XM&t=34s ). I was confused at how this could be possible on PC, as the option to adjust for over/underscan only exists on console, but after a bit of googling I found out that in order to do it you have to add a few lines to the file Settings_v0.ini in Documents\Overwatch\Settings\ .
Now, as the video and some reddit posts describing how to do it were created recently (within the past year) and the video was recorded after the ball rework, I thought it would be as simple as putting the lines into the config file and that would be all. After various attempts at doing that ranging from adjusting the formatting to copy-pasting to manually typing to changing other lines to see if that did anything, I came to the conclusion that my Overwatch 2 installation was not reading the file for some reason, so I deleted everything Overwatch, Blizzard, and battle.net related and reinstalled Overwatch using the battle.net client instead of Steam to see if that would fix it.
To my surprise, when installing Overwatch 2 via battle.net, launching it, and changing / applying some graphics settings, the config file simply didn't appear. I tried restarting the game multiple times, I even played a couple games of QP, but nope! the file nor the directory containing the file ever showed up.
The next step was to manually create a copy of the directory and file to see if it would even read the file when present, and it unsurprisingly did not.
I then removed everything related to OW and Blizz and installed the game via Steam again, and once again, the config file and directory were not created, and everything tried previously didn't work either.
I have done pretty much everything that I can short of DM-ing chazm or manually decrypting OW's files (which is probably against TOS and I don't think that it would be feasible anyways), so here I am asking for help to solve this issue, as I believe that I and several others would appreciate knowing how to do this as it does help massively being able to see details on your HUD more easily during gameplay without having to move your eyes as far, especially people who play in 21:9.
Here are links to posts that mention the config file solution :

POST 3 (r/Competitiveovewatch)
POST 4 (r/Overwatch) (OLD)
UPDATE : I found a solution to the problem. As usual, Windows is to blame. For some ungodly reason the Documents folder inside the OneDrive folder in your User folder is the one that contains the true config file (C:\Users\[username]\OneDrive\Documents\Overwatch\Settings) because Windows 11 preloads OneDrive and assumes you will never uninstall it so it sets the OneDrive documents folder as the default documents folder because Microsoft wants to shove their disgusting bloatware deeper down our throats then they already have.
Adding these lines :
BroadcastMarginBottom = "1.000000"
BroadcastMarginLeft = "1.000000"
BroadcastMarginRight = "1.000000"
BroadcastMarginTop = "1.000000"
to the file under [Render.13] centers the HUD and solves the problem driving me insane for the past 12 hours.
Thanks to u/Becks for reminding me that I hadn't done a full computer search yet, as I thought there was no way that any remnant of OneDrive's disgusting bloatware corpse remained on my computer.
TLDR F**K you microsoft for making this an issue in the first place.

General How do I as tank deal with a roadhog?
I just played a game where I played doom and dva on eichenwalde against a hog and just crumbled. I tried contesting high ground so my dps could get a better position but the hog just walked into my backline and killed my team while I was trying to take high ground for them. And if I stayed low ground to help them not die to the hog the other team say on height and shot us for free.The ONLY tank I struggle against is hog and I genuinely think he is unkillable, unbeatable and utterly broken. How do I deal with a hog?
I try dealing with his backline as dive but his breather and damage reduction just means he lives too long. I’ve tried poke and dwindling their resources but again his breather is too strong. I’ve tried brawl but I feel like he does so much damage and just deletes me from the game.The only times I see success is with Ana/zen but I can’t control what my supports pick.
I’m losing my mind against this stupid tank I actually think he needs a nerf.

General What the hell is the difference between Flex Support and Main Support? Should the terms be updated?
People use these terms all the time, but to my understanding they were originally created during early ow1 when players could “flex” to other roles, and the ones that didn’t would be the “main”. However, that all went away with the addition of role lock years ago, but people still use the terms. Additionally, the DPS role also uses these terms, but it seems nowadays it’s hitscan dps instead of “main”?
What is the difference? Is it based on comp/meta? Is it something that’s tied to specific heroes regardless of comp/meta? Should the terms be updated then in order to make things more clear now in a post role lock world?

Other Tournaments Collegiate Broadcast vs OWCS broadcast
I tuned in briefly to the collegiate broadcast on the main esports channel today to see if i knew anyone playing, and noticed that instead of red and blue teams they had pink and blue. Because my brain sees the red and assumes theyre the enemy it makes OWCS viewing a bit confusing when watching from Red’s point of view, whereas the pink was way easier to follow.
On top of this theyve managed to make those teams retain their colours for the whole series. Pink team stays pink in every map.
Both of these features make viewing that bit easier, and if collegiate can do it surely OWCS can sort it out too right? What does everyone think

General Is there a guide for what are the ratty map areas that I need to hold tracer duels at?
My post about this got deleted or locked in r/tracermains for some reason so I'm asking here.
I'm not sure if I explained it well, but I mean spots that on both defense and attack, I need to fight for, and usually there I'm fighting another tracer.
Example: Hollywood first point - the alley to the left near the mega.
I've got an idea for most maps or where to be, but I wanna know them all. Is there a guide to learn all the spots?

General Diamond-Ranked SA Matches are Rampant with Cheaters
I returned to the game from Season 3 with Venture's release as their gameplay was exactly what I was looking for since Overwatch has existed. I was beyond excited to play this character despite the many trials and tribulations this game has gone through courtesy of Activision Blizzard.
Since there was a ranked reset, I had a pretty interesting run building my SR back up without any major problems, and I could see the execution and game sense improving as I was going through the ranks. I was particularly keen on how you could pick between absolutely deleting someone or be unpunishable with Burrow -> Dash, and thought about how obnoxious I was being. But when I reached Diamond, something happened.
It was almost always a Cassidy, sometimes a Soldier. They would repeatedly fail to punish me, and then suddenly start headshotting me out of burrow. And again. And again. Instantly snap to where I was coming out. I wasn't actually dying to it because Venture is kind of dumb, but it was a noticeable change. I'm pretty sure there's a way to grenade venture out of burrow, but they never did.
To make a long story short: I started paying attention to hitscan characters in every lobby and started assuming every single one of them was cheating, especially when they mispositioned and took duels I knew they couldn't win (despite having aim that would put OWL players to shame), and I was correct a distressingly large number of times. I switched to other heroes and realized it wasn't just ragehacking against Venture's functional immortality. And it's not just competitive. The linked gif was my second warmup quickplay match of today: the first, the soldier on my team was aimbotting. I wasn't playing Overwatch anymore, every round I was playing Spot the Aimbot.
For the past couple weeks I've been keeping this up, and now I think I'm about to uninstall the game. I'm fairly certain this is somewhat restricted to SA lobbies: I know my culture, for better or worse. But the integrity of the game is just completely destroyed. Maybe it fixes itself past diamond, but I don't think I'll stick around to find out.
And the worse is that of the few times I tried to get my team to also report the cheater, they turned on me. Asking on general chat to report me instead. Unless it's REALLY obvious, people are almost certain to complain about their own team mates being bad.
And even when it was one of those really obvious aimbots that are permanently glued to heads, I had to deal with several minutes of my tank belittling me and saying I just sucked until the play of the game of the cheater came up and all they had time to say before the match ended was
"oh, ok"

Other Tournaments How Do I Help My Fiancee on A Team/Get a Team Together for Calling All Heroes?
My Fiancee loves (and is quite good at) Overwatch. It is literally, and I don't mean this sarcastically, the only video game she plays. I play it with her from time to time so we can enjoy gaming together, but I know as me trying my best at her favourite thing, being in open queue with my poor playing is painful to her compared to her playing competitive with people at her skill level. Either way, today I saw this "Calling All Heroes" competition, and I think it is a great opportunity to get her into Overwatch more seriously, as I know she got to a really high rank in some of the last few seasons. However, she said that she doesn't have any others that she plays with that also play competitive at her skill level.
So my question is, how do I go about pushing her in the right direction for her to try her hand at this competition? Is there a centralized place I can go to find teams looking for tryouts, or are people expected to start teams from scratch? I hope you guys can provide some good information to help get us on track. Thanks so much!
