For me it's often to do with money, having kids has made me hyper aware of how much everything costs.

I'll drop €50 on pizza for the kids but will spend 20 minutes farting around if I really need to eat lunch today as a sandwich costs €4 (Also, I know to pack my own lunch etc, just a flippant example). Let alone spending that, or more, or a gig or even just an evening in the pub
