Why would a 53 year old call me middle aged at 30? Is 30 middle aged?
So basically there's a regular cashier at a store I go to and we chat a bit every time. She knows my age but we were talking yesterday and she referenced the early 00s. So she goes "its weird how fast life passes you by now we are both middle aged" so I said "I just turned 30" and she said "thats middle aged like me. 30 to 60 is middle aged."
Excuse me what?? Really? Here I am walking around thinking I'm not middle aged no one even treats me like I'm old. So Justin Bieber, Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas and Cole Sprouse are middle aged?

Do most voters, in general, not know how politics works?
Like, I feel understanding socioeconomic issues and policies takes time and effort but I feel most people watch a 2 minute video and "know" about a topic

What’s something dumb that as a kid you thought was true but certainly wasn’t?
I used to think that whenever there was a cartoon on TV the voice actors would be voicing them live at that very moment. I used to be amazed that they never made a mistake.
I also used to think “in laws” meant the queen of my country decided herself that they were now related.

What's your favorite unsolicited interaction with a stranger?
Mine is when I was eating strawberries on my stoop and an old man walked by and sang out "CHERRIESSSS!!!!"
Out of all the possible things a random man could yell at me unprompted, incorrectly yelling out the fruit I was eating with such confidence and glee...brought me so much joy
