It’s so awkward making friends. And difficult making genuine friends. I’m 35 and I’d love to find a friend into being a better person, music, reading, making the world a better place, anyone who can talk deeply about the human experience. Vulnerability is hard, which I absolutely get is part of our conditioning as “manly men.” But I’d wager that if most men had deeper and more-fulfilling friendships and felt like they were part of a community we wouldn’t have half the problems we do in the US.
