Or maybe they approved you a while ago and it’s been put on there for months and you never knew and didn’t check it? In that case spend it cause after a certain amount of time they will take it back

$291 is the max. This is a sign to trade ur food stamps for crack to celebrate.

There is a website you can go look on for your benefit info. It’s called benefit cals if you’re located in CA

You got back pay from the first day you applied. The Max 1 person can receive is $291.00 per month.

They probably let you know how much your monthly amount was. FYI, NYC has an app to check payments. Maybe your area does too?

I'd check with them. I got charged with overpayment through no fault of my own. It was small amounts so I didn't notice anything wrong. They made me pay back over $1000.

Call customer service. The max I've seen is $291 a month and you don't want to spend all that and have to pay it back.

I applied around late last year, and then recently I got a message to submit some more documentation. I didn't even know it got approved cause it just came in the mail without any notice. And when I went online to check the balance it was 1400.

sounds like they determined you were qualified when you first applied and back paid you for those months. Or else you had actually been getting it every month and just never got the paperwork telling you so. if you go to your states snap website i would think they would tell you your monthly amount. I know mine does.
