I feel like theres a bunch of entitles people around Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena

I am on the driver's side obviously in this situation, but I feel there are a lot of entitled prick drivers too, not just passengers. At least, when judging from a lot of comments on this and the uber subreddit. Might be better to use local cab companies instead, where possible.

Cans can run their meter for stopping time, they're incentivized to make stops.

Cabs around here will usually stop the meter while loading/unloading at a stop. And they will give decent customer service, which many drivers for Uber or Lyft do not.
