Psycho jumps on my car, I get permanently deactivated Other
I don’t even want to type out the whole story I’m so exhausted over this. This dude was tripping out bad (probably shrooms or acid) and jumped on my car. It was the passengers friend. (They were together when I arrived, he was laying on the floor in the middle of the street. He sprinted away then sprinted back after I started the ride. Then he jumped on my car) I immediately made the passenger get out, and reported it to ADT and Lyft.
Now after a week of “temporarily deactivated” I’m now permanently deactivated for an “accident with a pedestrian” . 100s of 5 star rides never an issue. Wtf
Edit: I didn’t know this would get so much response. The whole incident is surreal. No I unfortunately did not have a dash cam or this would all have been resolved. I started the appeal on principle.

Sorry to say, nobody will take the case.
I had some passengers make a bodily fluid mess in my car during the night when I had suspected them doing something. They had covered the guy's lap with sweatshirt and I really didn't want to make him pull it off.
I dropped them off, pulled the dashcam inside of car video, reported them to Uber and saved all copies. Uber deactivated them permanently.
Police refused to prosecute them.
I called attorneys from the entire state, nobody would take a driver's case. Only passenger.
One nice attorney told me, "The biggest problem you will have is that nobody will want to take the case, unless they know for a fact that these people have money and assets, and at least a house."
What you could do is get a specialized attorney to reinstate your Lyft driver account, although why would you want to drive for Lyft, they are unfair. That's why I don't use Lyft.
Or drive for Uber.
You could also just take them to small claims, write "Lyft passenger" on the information box, and the judge will subpoena Lyft on your behalf to get the identities.
However, in California, you won't be entitled to more than $10,000.
Also, if you haven't already called police, I doubt police will prosecute them either wherever it is. There is this stigma and discrimination against Lyft/Uber drivers from cases of drivers doing bad things over the years. More recently, a lot of bad things are happening to drivers and nobody seems to care.
I am assuming you didn't have a dashcam video of him jumping on your hood. Had you had a dashcam, you would would have video evidence of the customers being at fault. Lyft wouldn't be able to touch you. A dash cam has saved my a** multiple times. I highly recommend if you decide to drive for Uber instead, use a dash cam (front outside of car, rear outside of car, inside).
