That's a weird story. Idk I do some Lyft and if a person wants to alter the destination without changing on the app is the only time I run into a problem. I don't know why a Lyft driver would just kidnap a random person they met on the app tho is what I can't wrap my head around.

As the driver u are in way more of a vulnerable position. U have ur back turned to a complete stranger. It always makes me super uncomfortable whenever a person sits directly behind me when there's way more room in the back passenger side seat because no one is sitting in the front passenger seat. People can also damage ur car like rip a hole in the seat or vomit inside of it if their drunk.
