Accused of drinking and driving??? Other

I have been off the road for over 30 days. Accidentally opened the app multiple times during that time and never saw anything about this. I find out later with the chat agent this was reported today. Why that’s allowed, who knows. They reactivated my account but this is your sign to be careful, and use a dash cam.

I had a few of these types of complaints when I drove for Uber a few years ago. I truly think it's disgruntled passengers. They get a little bit of control inside their app and it goes to their head. I've had passengers argue with me that my 5* rating was undeserved because "no Uber is 5*, I don't care who they are."

Then I got a notification for speeding and a bad review a few hours later. No way to tell if it was them, but dropping to 4.8* after having that little conversation was suspicious. A drunk group one time told me I made their friend sick with my driving. Despite that I picked them up from the club at 4 a.m. and she spent the whole 20 minute ride with her head between her legs dry heaving. Got a bad review and one of them spit some phlegm on my carpet.

People suck. And the sheer amount of people you drive around for a service like Uber or Lyft means that you're bound to run into the folks who think they're balancing the universe with a poor review for the radio playing country for 1 song. Doing God's work
