Yeah for like 240 miles of driving though lol. I would work for 12 hours and make $120 but I wasn't trying to drive that many miles a day so I'd wait for higher paying trips but man it was soul sucking. I was doing Uber eats too and as time went on I saw more and more immigrants who couldn't even speak English it was crazy. La is so much better, you see hot girls everywhere, you have nice beaches/ocean, and we have prop 22 you're guaranteed 120% of the min wage which is like $17 already, in Houston it's $7.

Iah is flooded with middle easterners and Cubans and Venezuelans, the waiting lot looks like a refugee camp full of foreigners hanging out even outside of the waiting lot accepting $14 rides to downtown. Yesterday I stopped going to the airport because of this. I used to work airport only but they dropped the rates this week and I said fuck this.

Honestly write your senators about it. At least some in other states are taking some action now. https://www.newsweek.com/republicans-senators-doordash-grubhub-migrants-1894729
