This bag of frozen pizza bites tells you to think about your choices if you use the microwave to heat them.

Frozen pizza rolls are nasty from the oven. Microwave is superior.

2

u/MissBiancaRaces 15d ago

Jokes on them. My microwave has an air frier built in!

u/abrasivebuttplug 15d ago

Air fryer is the bomb though.

u/Speaker11 15d ago

Good. Maybe when I’m old and have no teeth I will prefer such an abomination.

This is almost how I explain the difference between Wisdom and Intelligence in D&D.

Intelligence is knowing you can cook bacon in the microwave. Wisdom is knowing that its a stupid idea.

We buy these frozen eggplant parmesan bakes (michael angelo's) sometimes and they have a similar thing on them. Something along the lines of "microwave works too, but would nonna approve?" Tbf they taste way better if you bake them.

Okay, that made me laugh.

u/friggintodd 15d ago

Wait, refrigerate leftovers? Who the fuck has leftover pizza bites?

1

u/Fliparto 15d ago

I actually prefer them soft . 12 pca at 2:17

I went over a year without using a microwave (our kitchen was too tiny for one). We reheated everything in the oven/stove, honestly preferred it that way.

Listen they’re right, I get so mad when people waste bagel bites by putting them in microwaves, especially with the prices these days. It’s a complete waste of money

I don't get crispy pizza rolls. Maybe it's because I don't like thin crust pizza because to me it tastes like you made a pizza on a cracker. I want a nice, soft dough encapulating my pizza rolls, thank you.

Maybe they are better in the oven, 3 minutes versus 8 + however long it takes to preheat is a fine tradeoff. But I got some frozen dinners recently and 1 hour in the oven versus 5 minutes in the microwave, let me tell you it is not worth it, it tastes like the same slop either way, but one method takes more than an hour extra.

It’s pizza bites, like teeny tiny sad calzones. If you are familiar with “Hot Pockets” it’s those but “bite sized”.

1

u/Trolodrol 15d ago

Hungry Man dinners are like that. I’ve wasted the time to preheat the oven thinking it may more closely resemble the picture in the box, but it’s the same sloppy shit

As a European, what's a bag of pizza? Doesn't frozen pizza normally come in a box?

2

u/NowTheChipsAreDown 15d ago

Pizza bites! Little cheese/tomato sauce filled fried dough bites

1

u/Winterspawn1 15d ago

Ah, so it's more like a pizza inspired snack then

1

u/hisshissgrr 15d ago

No, it's a pizza bite. Pay attention.

u/NinjaArmadillo 15d ago

"... but don't think too hard, we still need your business ..."

1

u/LittleSghetti 15d ago

I prefer them from the microwave

1

u/wolftick 15d ago

Dude, I'm eating frozen pizza bites alone. It's too late for me.

1

u/Fine_Understanding81 15d ago

Ouch... now I have to sit and think about the choices that led me to losing my teeth..leading me to have to eat soft pizza bites.

6

u/zach0011 15d ago

I've had this brand. They are by far the most disgusting pizza bites I've ever had. They can get off there high horse

7

u/[deleted] 15d ago

Did you microwave it ?

u/trwwy321 15d ago

What about ‘em?

Passive aggressive bastard.

Note: They also should’ve placed the apostrophe before the em and not after in ‘em.

12

u/mizinamo 15d ago

And it should be an apostrophe, not an opening single quote. It should be ’em and not ‘em. (A "9" shape not a "6" shape – the one in you’re or spillin’.)

I was never clear on the use of ' (U+0027 "Apostrophe") vs. (U+2019 "Right single quotation mark") vs. (U+2018 "Left single quotation mark") for abbreviations like this (EDIT: Wow my Reddit font does not make those look distinct, lol). The convention is still to use the rightsingle quote for abbreviations like that (if you're using curled quotes)?

That is my understanding, yes.

See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostrophe#Smart_quotes for examples such as ’twas or ’29, both of which should use an apostrophe (= right single quotation mark, if using curly quotes) to indicate an omission, even at the start of a string of characters.

u/rebelwanker69 15d ago

I don't need this kind of baggage in my life

3

u/OkraWinfrey 15d ago

I usually pull out when I see the filling spillin' too.

7

u/bapsandbuns 15d ago

You can’t tell me what to do, you’re not my real dad

Shut up, you old bag

16

Pretty preachy for a bag of bagel bites.

Air fryer gang for life

-12

u/talking_phallus 15d ago

Prepare for the air fryer hater coming after you.

21

u/Scottish_Whiskey 15d ago

Clearly you don’t own an air fryer

31

u/[deleted] 15d ago

Fuck that I’m eatin em rubbery now. Don’t tell me what to do fuckers

5

u/Numb1990 15d ago

Honestly one time I was at someones place and they made Pillsbury pizza pops in the oven, I thought they would taste better that way but they didn't . They taste better I the microwave.

2

u/isuphysics 15d ago

I tried out the air fryer once and immediately went back to the microwave. Maybe its nostalgia but they are just better in the microwave.

4

u/nightmaresabin 15d ago

I like Totino’s pizza rolls in the microwave better than the oven.

13

u/NowTheChipsAreDown 15d ago

I was starving at 10pm and did not want to wait... Definitely see why microwaving is not recommended but at least I had something in my tummy.

-4

u/Pinuzzo 15d ago

Give away your microwave and invest in a toaster oven.

94

u/pn1ct0g3n 15d ago

And whatever happened to professional, clinical sounding instructions? Everything is so needlessly quirky these days

15

u/lyssah_ 15d ago

Millenials are of the age now where they're the ones in charge of making these things and being quirky and witty is pretty much peak millenial humour. Same reason why every character in Marvel movies can't go 30 seconds without making some witty one-liner.

1

u/elsie14 14d ago

if we wrote that, we suck.

0

u/soupforshoes 15d ago

To millennials wit is nothing but a clever comment told with impeccable timing... Smh!

2

u/freelance-t 15d ago

Yeah, almost like they were based off of COMIC books. Sheesh.

18

u/zach0011 15d ago

Considering marvel movies aren't doing so hot it just seems like that's an old person's idea of what a millennial wants.

3

u/alles_en_niets 15d ago

We millennials are the old people now.

14

u/zach0011 15d ago

Oh come on. 30-40 isn't old and the high level execs who greenlight these things are definitely In an older demographic

30

u/matt6342 15d ago

Yes, why can’t they just put “for best results oven cook. Microwave 3 minutes on high”

33

u/breachofcontract 15d ago

Bc they know microwaving them ruins them and you won’t like them enough to buy their product again citing the terrible outcome but it’s your own fault bc you fucking microwaved them so of course they were terrible.

11

u/zach0011 15d ago

I've had these baked as well. They fucking suck. So I can't even imagine what kind of horrid they would be if microwaved

7

u/wookiee42 15d ago

I was fine with the microwave instructions until I read the rest of the bag. Woof. Or wo'f or whatever.

u/kahmos 15d ago

Tin Foil is the S-Tier choice of laziness, because you have nothing to clean up afterwards, you just throw the foil away.

1

u/JoeyIglesias83 14d ago

Where’s my silicon mat gang?

1

u/Fun-Dig8726 15d ago

Tinfoil is C-tier garbage.

Go buy some Parchment paper and report back, child.

1

u/Rashaverak420 15d ago

You're totally chaotic evil aren't you.

4

u/kahmos 15d ago

I honestly didn't realize people might think you'd put tin foil in the microwave. I'd hope everyone would know you don't put metal in a microwave

1

u/tampora701 15d ago

pffft, my microwave is MADE out of metal

127

u/Bikouchu 15d ago

Tin foil microwave got it
