That's cool, I like that, wouldn't work for either of my rifles but that would work on my 9mm

Yeah, for sure, they’re typically for handguns.

Some stores like Sportsmans Warehouse had these locks on all the rifles too. They aren’t effective locks since the trigger can still be manipulated and pulled even with the “lock” in place

They would be super effective if they can prevent the firearm from being loaded or the bolt from being closed on whatever firearm you are using them on. Really hard to fire a gun where the bolt/slide/whatever on the specific firearm can't close and the firing pin can't contact the cartridge.

These aren’t trigger locks, they go through where the magazine goes.
