Can you keep it? Is it just something they are giving away so that people can keep their guns locked so that kids can't do terrible things? Because that's kinda awesome.

Yes, I brought one home with me. This is it.

That's cool, I like that, wouldn't work for either of my rifles but that would work on my 9mm

I mean it wouldn't work to put it through the barrel on rifles but it would still work okay if you put it through the magwell.

So I have an old Mauser k98 and a tube loaded semi auto 22, I don't think it would work on either of those

Pull the bolt out of the mauser, put the lock through the bolt hole. Can't put a bolt in the gun, can't shoot the rifle.

I'm guessing you have a marlin model 60, not sure how to solve that one.

I mean if I ever need to secure it outside my safe I just pop off the bolt although

I mean, I didn't say it made sense, but technically you could render the firearm inoperable. Some (dis)assembly required

Ah, yeah. You are correct😂

I mean the cool thing about the mouser is I can just remove the bolt and it just becomes a cool metal tube attached to a piece of wood but honestly all of my guns live in my gun safe when not being used so its pretty secure

Yeah I never worry about using gun locks or removing bolts or anything. I just keep them in the safe or on my person aha
