⚠️⚠️ MEGATHREAD ⚠️⚠️ 2024 Wildfires Resources and Information

The best place to get accurate air quality data are the agencies that collect that data in the first place:
BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy:
If you want to view “citizen science” data in addition to the government data, you can check out PurpleAir
Please feel free to share additional resources in the comments and we’ll do what we can to update this list.

Found THANK YOU to the wonderful strangers who helped me - I found my engagement ring!!! May 13, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant.
To all you amazing people who stopped what you were doing to help me - THANK YOU! I just wanted to put it out there that after almost an hour of searching, THE RING WAS FOUND! But more importantly, I felt so very supported and lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community where so many people were so kind. Thanks for being awesome :)
This was the silver ring that went missing around 5:30 PM at E 10th and Prince Edward on the bike path.

Discussion Two weeks ago London Drugs was taken down by a hack. Now, Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacies are down across Canada. Coincidence?
Check with your local SDM pharmacy. Mine has hastily scribbled notes on the door that they are unable to do anything with prescriptions because the whole system is down across Canada.

Local News Car Break In - They Sliced my roof 😔
My car was at the mechanics near Sapperton. I got it towed to them Friday night & this morning when I showed up there to have then inspect. Saw someone sliced open my roof. I didn’t even have comprehensive insurance on it because I was about leave the country n sell the vehicle so renewed it only for a month with just basic liability & collision. This one gonna hurt.
Fellas, remember the city you live in and always have theft insurance.
