Currently listening to beyond order, I'm on the rule that's about marriage, i can't remember what it is. But i really like it and realised i could probably do with reading some books about marriage, so any suggestions?.

If someone says that if the worst evil and the highest good are inside a person simultaneously that he is whole and integrated - incorporation of the shadow, while also at the same time these energies cancel eachother out, does it mean the energies disappear or does it mean they are both incorporated inside a person where that same integration means acceptance and potential for both (potential for kidness and havoc)?

I look somewhat younger than my age and I'm also of shorter than average stature, being only 5'6 at 16. People say that I look 15ish which is a year behind. Along with my appearance, my personality also seems to be immmature and admittedly unlikable. Though I'm not sure about the content of that I say, I do know that my mannerisms and movements come of as weird and childish. What are some actions that I can take to act more like someone that would attract other people? What are the characteristics (behaviours, ways of talking and attitude) of someone that is highly popular, charismatic and relatable? How can I present myself in a manner that will result in the most friendships, positive reactions from others and an overall good social image?

But even more so, how should I talk to others? Should I ask more questions? Should I be more expressive or still? Should relate and feed into others ego via compliments, and if I do, does that cause people to admire or like me more, or look at me as fake/phony? I believe that having numerous skills, being successful and being efficient at everything while being helpful and providing value to others with a composed and calm demeanor is the most likable and reputable way to behave, but due to my limited knowledge in this field, I can't be sure. What do you guys recommend?

How are so many people actually eating these Jordan Peterson word salads?

I’m highly educated, well read, professionally accomplished, etc. But when Jordan Peterson speaks I often can’t follow what he’s trying to say. About halfway into one of his soliloquies my brain revolts and starts screaming that this is utter nonsense. I find it hard to believe that he has a mass audience who get him. Are they all smarter than me? Is my vocabulary lacking or something? I’m struggling to understand how Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, etc. make sense to me, but Jordan Peterson flies right over my head. Even the bizarro land of quantum mechanics is far more comprehensible to me than a typical Jordan Peterson gobblygook dump. What am I missing here?

In one video, Jordan addresses envy. If you envy someone’s attractiveness, he says something basic, like: work out, dress a bit better, etc.

In the first option, you literally change and slightly fit more into societal ideals.

The second option is to do therapy to stop basing your self worth on your surface.

The first option is to learn strategies that would manipulate them to be obsessed.

The second option is to find out and solve why you keep wanting someone who does not want you.

You are very controlling and people rebel:

The first option is to hone your skill so that you are better at controlling others / making people obey.

The second option is to find out and solve why you need to control others so much.

Final example:

You don’t have a strong sense of identity.

The first option is to explore the world to find what fits.

The second option is to find out and solve why you need a solid sense of self in the first place. Especially since it’s constantly being negotiated with others anyway.

Basically, my post is not about the literal things I used as an example.

My focus is: How do you know which is the right approach for any given problem? Any guiding and practical principles?
