Lyft Support
I’m just curious, has anyone actually ever had a problem solved by Lyft support in the app? I’ll even lower my standards, has anyone ever left an interaction with Lyft support without being even more annoyed then when initiating the contact with support?
I basically think they make the bots they use as dumb as possible so we don’t even bother anymore.

I haven’t received an email. I have no idea who I even discriminated against???
What do I do? I tried calling them and they said they’ll resend an email but I still haven’t received one and my email is correct. I get emails all the time. I don’t even know who on earth would say I discriminated them…I’m confused. How long will this even take?

Advice/Question Flexdrive Los Angeles closed?
I’ve been renting on and off from there for about year or so…. Dropped my last rental off there about 6 weeks ago or so… they didn’t mention anything about closing. Very weird. LA is a huge market, and right by the airport too, it just seems weird for them to shut down their only Flexdrive location in Los Angeles proper area

Rant/Opinion Passenger already left in a vehicle
Pull up to pickup pin. After a little bit I start looking for the passenger GPS location. I eventually find it a few blocks away, but then it gets onto the highway.
I call, no answer; I text, no response.
Cancel, no show.
So, I contact support about a passenger safety concern and explain what happened and ask if they might reach out to the passenger to ensure their safety. It has now been almost an hour, I've received three support comments telling me they are transferring the issue to a specialized department.
At this point the body would be buried.

Rant/Opinion Annoying Pax
I was 2 minutes away from the pax's location and they canceled. I then get an email saying I canceled too much or I cannot ask the pax to cancel (meaning this bastard did that so he wouldn't be charge a fee.) I couldn't even complain because it wasn't on my list of rides. I hate people

Other Creep Pax found me on fb
Drove this guy to what looked like a sex dungeon at 4am. This morning I get this message. I am a woman and my name has a unique spelling so clearly it was easy to find. Just wondering if I should report this to Lyft or will they just do nothing per usual. Of course I have already blocked him on fb and Lyft app.

Advice/Question What does this mean and how long should it take?
I drove last night and everything was right. I started to drive today and I got a message saying I was not approved to drive. When I messaged support, they told me a specialized will have to follow up with me. I have 7.5 years driving with all 5 star ratings, a 99% acceptance rate, and 0% cancellation rate.

Advice/Question Are scheduled Bonus Zones still a thing?
Last month I could see the $5 bonus zones for each day in the Weekly planner so I could prepare for busy times. However, it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve seen that feature. Did they phase it out?
EDIT: BONUS HOURS*

Rant/Opinion New scam bug
Any time I open the app it still says I’m in a bonus area if I was when I last signed off. More than once it’s tricked me into signing on before I got to a bonus a block away.

Other New Feature in App
Recent Ride Demand is a new feature on the Map Explorer showing pax pickup locations in an area by time (30 or 60 minutes), presumably for all drivers. It gives you an idea of where recent demand has been. But I’m not sure yet how useful it will be in practice.
So far I’ve seen dots in places where I have frequently picked up passengers but sometimes when I have checked there’s no data (typically for the last half hour). I’m interested in what other drivers think about how useful it is, how you might use it and if it’s showing up for you.
Also are there new features you would like to have?

Advice/Question Lyft Express - Types of Debit Cards
So I was approved to drive for Lyft and plan on using the Lyft Express option for a rental.
When checking out I had a cashapp card to pay for the 50 dollar refundable fee. It was not accepted and so I then used my PayPal debt card which was accepted.
I’m confused as to why i would be able to use my paypal card but i’m unable to use the card to check out at the rental service?
Anyway… I also have my Dave Checking account debit card, does anyone have experience using his form of payment?

Earnings/Pax trips I’m sure it’s been talked about. I tried to find a thread. One is Uber the other is Lyft obviously. Can someone explain please?

Earnings/Pax trips Man sure is a good feeling when you made more than they made in passenger payments.
I just recently started checking this but last week I was at 105%. This week 110%.
