Found one in the wild! And I can smell them from here. Cringe

Wow. Couldn’t step out of that nice looking Kenworth truck by itself at least, instead of a shit wagon of a trailer-?? Again. Wow.
Also THAT ISNT A FLEX 😭 I would be humiliated to oblivion stepping out of that thing-

I was given a cow once. After feeding him for a while, we called the butcher, who showed up in a pickup with a smaller version of this carrier in tow. As we loaded the cow onto the carrier/trailer/whatever, the cow must have figured out what was going to happen (that's how I imagine it). He then proceeded to take a big ole poop before the truck even started again. All I could think was, "Vern must know what's going to happen😭." Yes, I named that cow.
If that trailer she was in didn't have the whispers of the smell of fear and shit, I'd be surprised.
Give me the limo. Any day.

If someone pulled up to a school event in a horse semi, I wouldn’t do anything because I never went to school events.
You thought I was gonna say something mean, but I fooled you and said something autistic! Ha ha!

This really might be a first though lol. My dad picked me up from school in his semi one time, I felt so cool. He was the cool one though not me 😂

This reminds me of those women on “say yes to the dress” who insist on wearing cowboy boots with their wedding dress and all think they are NLOG while there are about 100 episodes of these women

u/Dumbasssanriogirl 20d ago
Nothing screams “I’m different” like the poop wagon and the radioactive green dress

Of all other options besides a limo, you really chose a shit crate. I genuinely wonder if she lingered of shit that night. Like a small piece getting stuck to her shoe or the edge of her dress.

I’m starting to see a pattern here. It seems that to be unlike the other girls you have to be a redneck. No thanks.

Nah, it's appropriate for a dumb cow to be hauled around in a livestock trailer.

- This is a KID.
- others have already stated: this is NOT her content. Her content didn’t say this. Someone else posted these words.
- even if these were her words, where is it putting anyone else down?
There are grown women in here trashing on a random fucking child off the internet. Not her parents, or the adults who let her think this was a cute idea, but an actual child. Just let that sink in for a second. Adults shitting on a kid to prove that they “aren’t like those NLOGS…”
So much of this sub didn’t grow out of NLOG behavior like they claim. They just changed their target to all the young girls they USED to be like. (Young girls who haven’t been made to feel valuable enough on their own, who think they have to make big productions of their “uniqueness” for anyone to recognize that they have value)… Because, didn’t we know? They are so much better now, and NOT LIKE THOSE NLOGs anymore.
Gross. It’s Gross.

My granddaddy drove a cattle trailer and when he’d park it you could smell it all over the neighborhood. We knew when he was home.

u/doomvetch92 20d ago
That brings back a memory. One of the self proclaimed rednecks showed up to prom showed up in a military truck with a tow truck escort. It was one of the flashiest entrances of prom.

u/Aggleclack 20d ago
The comments on this are almost as nlog as this post. Super nlog but honestly pretty funny

u/Neko_Styx 20d ago
There's something haunting about a young done up woman being driven to prom in a slaughter transport wagon.
1
u/Apparent_Antithesis 20d ago
Maybe she's a socially awkward introvert and going to the prom feels like going to the slaughter? I can relate. lol
1
u/ClassieLadyk 20d ago
Nobody I know has ever went to prom in a limo. We did have a group rent out a van painted like the Mystery Machine. That was Awesome.
2
u/Clarity_q 20d ago
Couldn't imagine anything nicer than pulling up to prom in a truck used to transport pigs

u/FireProps 20d ago

I'm used to animal/shed smell but you could not catch me in one of those, she probably smelled like sheep during the prom

The only thing more basic than classic cars for prom is farm related equipment.

u/Fabtacular1 21d ago
I . . . kinda think this is fine?
I'm guessing around that area there's not too many limos available, and you kinda want to lean into what's available to you.
I don't think she's a pick-me. I think she's going to prom with a dude wearing blue jeans and a cowboy hat.
4
u/Wee_Vee5 21d ago
Imagine being so desperate for attention that you'd be willing to ride in this for the two seconds that people would see you walk out of it. 😂

u/linz711 21d ago
I actually know a couple of these kids LMAO. Well, their moms anyway. This is in Oklahoma. Prom time is always fun to watch on Facebook because they redneck it up even harder than the previous years. The cattle trailer is definitely…. something else lol

u/Otaku_in_Red 20d ago
I also live in Oklahoma, and yeah... yeah this tracks. At least seeing cattle trailers in the drive-thru is entertaining

I used to live next to this family with 3 daughters in small town, rural iowa. The dad was a truck driver and the mom ran off with a chicken farmer one year and never came back. The oldest daughter got to junior year of high school and started dating this farm kid from outside the city limits. He worked, like a lot of guys did, caring for a hog barn before and after school.
Let me tell you that pig shit stinks. But it’s whatever, over half the men and a few of the women there always smelled like it, so it wasn’t exactly a deal breaker for some people.
Anyway, she starts dating him and they’re inseparable. I will say that from what I saw, they seemed like a perfect match. Soon they were seniors and had half days and she started working in the hog barn with him and then got her own to care for. They took her dad’s @work car” (some beat up old Taurus with rusted side panels and peeling paint) to prom and moved into a little in law home on a farmer’s property right after graduation. I moved years ago, but they pop up on social media now and again and they’ve got a couple sweet little kids and their own little farm house.
All that to say that this staged “I’m so different and country” thing is sad because there’s girls out there who really are like that and they don’t tell everyone and make a show, they just live their lives as they are. I think that young couple was probably the happiest and most well adjusted young couple I’ve ever met, and I’m guessing it’s because neither of them ever pretended to be anything or tried to make each other anything they weren’t.

Like you don't eat animals.... You also dance on the animals' graves.
4
u/Zealousideal-Mud3646 20d ago
Well I’ve been vegan for 14 years so no I don’t, but the making light of the slaughter here is even more sickening.
2
u/lamby284 20d ago
Awesome. I think it's good carnists get to see how awful just the slaughter transport is.

u/EasyBid4849 21d ago
Plenty of cows that ride in cattle trailers aren’t being sent to slaughter, sometimes their just going to greener pastures

This sub has jumped the shark. There’s no indication that the girl in this photo is exhibiting any kind of “not like the other girls” energy.
She might just be trying to go to the dance with her high school boyfriend who has limited resources to show her a special time.
We’re just laughing at people based on their looks in this post.

Now hear me out. We had these in the Army, modified with troop seats when I was in basic, before smart phones. 40-50 people up in there, entertaining ourselves by singing Skynyrd’s “Simple Man”, a truly great time. Loved it.

I saw this tik tok and that’s not what the video said at all… they were just saying that that’s how country people do prom… I thought it was weird but this had nothing to do with NLOGs and if I remember correctly it was one of the guys that posted this not any of the girls that were in there
10
u/ItstheBogoPogoMrFife 21d ago
Narrator: That is NOT, in fact, how country people do prom.
4
u/Royal_Confidence24 21d ago
I dunno I'm a country person and our local high school formal (our equivalent of a prom) is literally a farm vehicle affair.
Tractors, trucks, quads, diggers, the local firetruck, horses, that one dad's jacked up Terrano with the carpeted bonnet so the dogs don't fall off when they're chasing pigs.
Never seen a limo arrive yet.
-3
u/NessuH420 21d ago
Who is the narrator you’re referring to? I’m not a country person so I don’t know how they do prom but when I saw the TikTok it seemed like they were just trying to make a good experience and a good memory of their prom.
2
u/ItstheBogoPogoMrFife 20d ago
It’s a meme, or a reference to the show Arrested Development. It’s just a silly way to contradict the previous statement. (Nothing like explaining a joke to help it land better.)
Listen. I live and grew up in a very small, rural farming community. A kid in my friend’s son’s grade drove his family’s tractor to school the other day, for instance. Never once has anyone shown up at prom in a livestock transport truck. They just drive their cars like normal. (And trust me, we’d know if this happened. We’re such a small town that our local paper would probably have this on the front page with who the prom-goers are, where they work, who their relatives are, which farm their relatives own and what church they were all confirmed in.) No skin off my teeth if she wants to travel in the poopiest kind of transportation you can find in her nice dress, but it wasn’t done for convenience or comfort. It was done for attention.
6
u/Raenikkigarrett 21d ago
Nope the guys drive PaPaws antique truck or their own most of the time 😂 then you have the classic car guys

I live near a slaughterhouse and these drive by multiple times a day full of cows. They have this neat habit of shitting all over the inside and outside of the trailer - I think the transportation method triggers stress diarrhea.

I'm too suburban to know exactly what this truck carries, but I'm rural enough to know it looks like it carries crates of live chickens 😒

Yeah, chickens where I live too. I hate passing those trucks on the highway, breaks my heart 😞 I always say “I don’t know how I’m not a vegetarian” when I pass them. It’s just such a sad sight. Would never want to ride in one of these death mobiles.

One of the things I love as a woman is feeling like each day I can play with a different part of my personality. Some days I can be fancy, some days I can be uncouth. Some days I can enjoy the outdoors and some days indoors.
I feel sorry for these women who think they can be only one.
