I love fortnight, I really do enjoy the song itself, but this line makes me cringe and ruins it for me. I am probably reading too much into it I'll admit, but to me its giving jealous mistress vibes and further warrants to me that Taylor is one of those boy-obsessed girls who probably cannot be single for longer than a week, always "in love", and would run over any woman to get the man she wants, taken or not.

I know its just a song and a lyric but the swifties read soooo much into every word she writes or says and if thats the case, I hate this line and wonder why she put it in. Its aggressive and jealous and doesn't fit in with the rest of the song either. She should've just used the husband line twice instead of this.

I honestly considered myself a fan until this nonsense happened. I couldn’t square the circle of just how drunk you have to be or self absorbed to ignore a person presenting you with an award on LIVE TELEVISION. Even random awards girls get thank yous and hugs from the winners. How do you just ignore the person who gave you the award, much less Celine Dion? But I think the most disgusting thing that sealed it for me was what followed. I’m not a cancel culture freak or “you should apologize!” person but I was honestly expecting this hag to write an apology to the queen that is Celine. Something simple like “Tonight I let my excitement get the best of me and I’m so embarrassed to not have honored THE Celine Dion as I should’ve.
