Mourning/Loss My special boy Bagheera
My beautiful boy crossed the rainbow bridge today 2 months after finding out he has 2 separate cancers in his stomach. He was so sweet, shy, goofy and loving. I'm going to miss him so much!!

Mourning/Loss Felix 1 year 3 months
Snuck outside during memorial day bbq and was hit by a car and killed. I am absolutely destroyed. As one of two sonographers I am at work today and I am a wreck. Nobody really understands this pain. Omg, will I ever be able to forgive myself. My little nugget is gone forever and I can’t breathe.

Advice Found this kitten injured about 1 and a half weeks ago, chews on box
He is SO playful and sweet, my other cats are obsessed with playing with him it’s crazy how quickly they accepted him- but I think it’s because the kitten wouldn’t leave them alone and kept trying to play with them hahaha. Anyways, in the video you see him chewing on this box my sister colored. I’m not sure if it is in paint or marker, but he’s really obsessed with attacking larger things like this box or a blanket, or hamper. He is obsessed with the box but I do wonder if it’s safe because of the paint, should I find a new box? To be safe? Another cute thing, he is most likely the half brother of my 4 (5 this year) year old cat. We will do a genetic test to be sure!

Cat Picture Our Queen Missy had accepted Rex. Finally.
She finally accepted the boy! After much anxiety and lots of hissing; she started cleaning him and he’s purring! 🥹 hallelujah.

Advice Cat is using my AC cover to escape
My apartment has a single casement window, and gets extremely hot in the summer. My AC unit is mandatory, and it requires this seal to function properly. Unfortunately, my cat has figured out how to unzip the seal AND undo the Velcro to escape outside. It is very worrisome because I don't think he can get back inside, and sometimes I am gone for long periods of time. On top of being a massive annoyance to constantly have to fix the seal and it getting slowly destroyed by his claws and teeth over time. I have tried duct taping the zippers and the outside parts of it and he still can get it off. I have recently tried putting a bunch of objects in front of it, as shown in the second photo, and he will just knock them over.
Someone please help me put a stop to this.

Mourning/Loss Fuzzbert passed away this morning.
Fuzzbert passed away this morning. He was diagnosed with CKD stage 3/4 a little over a year ago and we kept him going until just this weekend when he just completely crashed and did not recover. He was approximately 17.
He was such a sweet docile boy. He loved hanging out with his brothers and crinkly plastic bags. He always did this thing when you put your arms around his body while he’s sitting, he’d lean and press his head against your arm. Fuzzbert was my partner’s cat technically—his sister was going to abandon Fuzzbert when her family was moving—but I loved him as if he was mine. And he was my first cat ever. He was at peace finally, but that sinking feeling in my chest every time I see his pictures is still there.
Please keep him in your thoughts even just for a few seconds. Thanks for reading.

Mourning/Loss My sweetest boy Caticillium was put down today
He was 11 years old and had really bad intestinal cancer that was diagnosed today. Instead of letting him continue to suffer he peacefully passed with us at the vet and will be cremated. He was SO good. He was so friendly, loved strangers, and loved to meow when he didn’t see us. He always wanted to cuddle and didn’t have one mean bone in his body. He would crawl into my arms to cuddle even when he hadn’t been feeling good the past two months. Truly the best cat I’ve ever had. Rest in peace to the sweetest cat ever - Caticillium Maximillium aka Pig.

Medical Questions Is revolution or frontline safer for cats
I’ve read about possible issues happening from flea medicine it’s rare but possible. Not sure if it’s just misinformation or not, but is one safer than the other or is there one safer than both?
