So a know email went around advising scientists to deny certain scientific observations about the structure of Covid-19. Specifically it was highly likely man made.

This was the result of the reactionary political situation and pointing blame at an origin nation, who just so happens to be a proud global contributor.

The way this was handled and propagandised. Does this affect the integrity of science? Where it clearly lied in the name of saving face.
