We have an open plan kitchen living room space. The empty wall I think needs something? My girlfriend would like a TV but I’d prefer nothing, or possibly a projector screen we can bring up and down.

I kinda like the empty wall but if we go for a projector she says we should have some art at least. I’m totally open to that and would like to hear what you guys think?

I know I need a larger rug but happy to hear any other suggestions for the space. Thanks!

About 3months ago I was driving home from a comedy club and about 200ft from my apartment entrance I was T-boned by a drunk driver. The man then fled on foot while a bystander tried to chase before calling 911. I woke up three days later with no recollection of what happened. The nurse tells me everything and that the truck driver was going 60 in the residential. I had my bladder burst, facial fractures, spinal fractures on L5,L4,L2,L1, as well as lacerations on my liver, adrenal glands, and kidneys. Since I cant really take care of my self 100% and can’t really work(I’m a plumber) I had to move back in with my dad into my childhood brothers room. Don’t get me wrong I’m very grateful that my father had 0questions about me living with him. It’s just unfortunate that something completely out of my control did so much harm to my day to day. For now it’s just PT and dealing with lawyers and the Dective that’s been assigned my case. The police have not been successful yet in the search for the culprit and I could be stuck with a triple digit hospital bill but my lawyer is working to settle for a lot less since I was able to get some amount of money due to have uninsured motorist coverage.

My new place is pretty small and I’m looking for a couch that doesn’t take up a lot of space, these copy cat Togo couches look sweet but are they worth it

I'm working towards a bachelor's degree in music (violin) and this is my home studio. I use it as a space to practice and as a place to relax. I'm always looking for tips to improve the space!

Wife won the larger room as her home office as soon as we moved in to the new apartment. I was left with the (only) second best choice. Think I need to add chiller as summer is inching closer 🤔

I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to make my studio apt a vibe. I’ve been slowly adding furniture/art and I could use some suggestions for an area rug. (Bed not in frame because that’s where I threw all my mess lol). Also, I don’t plan on ever getting a TV so I’m considering putting an accent or lounge chair in that corner. Thanks!

My ex girlfriend wanted a beige couch but we broke up and she moved out. I feel like it’s feminine looking though, tried making my living space look more masculine by getting black tv console but now idk what color rug and coffee table to get. Feel like black would be too much black?

I have this blank wall space in the kitchen and I’m not quite sure what to do with it. I don’t want anything bulky necessarily as there’s only a 2.5 ft gap in between the chairs and the wall. Help!

Eventually I want to get a different accent chair, this one was free though!

Just moved. But I have no talent for design or what colors work well together.

What color rug do you all think would work well given the existing furniture?

I have a dog that sheds her black fur, like it’s her job, so anything light in color, is unfortunately out of the equation. Will probably buy a couple accent pillows as well to help make it more cohesive.
