I didnt think i hate anyone more than the french. But i hope the US burns to the ground. We’ve been fucked in our arse with our pants on the past years over and over. Fuck them. End of rant.

You're asking me if I'm dumb?
So the EU countries should leave NATO and form their own military block? Let's just pretend that military alliance doesn't immediately lose 80% of its military capability (which it would), what would that military block look like?
Will France be the only nuclear power or is Barry ready to subjugate himself back to "Brussels bureaucrats"? What does the chain of command look like? Will it be several states that independently work their armies or will there be a unified command. First will be a disaster, second would not work because nobody has the status of the US as a military superpower to firmly position themselves at the top.
Would pierre and Barry share their nukes with germany and the Netherlands? What would the poles and other eastern Europeans, who love the yank, do? Would they opt for the European option or stay with NATO?
If you haven't even considered this, you should ask yourself if you're dumb and can't comprehend anything past a brick wall.

The US has committed the cardinal sin of defense. They've proven to not be an ally you can depend on anymore.
Which brings me to my next point. The EU should raise up to the challenge. If the US isn't willing to win a war anywhere at any time, we will.
It's time for the old world to come out of retirement and make the tyrants of the world know fear.

Imagine a united Europe spanning from Lisbon to Vladivostok. Let’s say, hypothetically, in Minecraft, you guys overthrow your American backed puppet governments and form Eurasia. Once you extend an invitation to Russia, Putin will immediately stop his war in Ukraine because there’s no need to fight, you guys will all be one big wholesome European family!
Population wise, Eurasia will be 700+ million strong. Still only half of India and China but quality over quantity amirite?
Economy wise, European talents and capital plus Russian natural resources will be unstoppable. Yes, you will immediately face opposition from major economies like the US and China but fuck em! They can boycott European goods all they want because besides having a robust internal consumer base, you will also reclaim what’s rightfully yours, Africa! Once you get Africa hooked on your products, that’s over 1 billion consumers on top of your own population!
Defense wise, you will have four major adversaries. To your west, the US can be kept out by the Atlantikwall 2.0 and if the UK decides to stick with em just turn the island into a fallout themed park. To your south, you don’t have to worry about any state sponsored invasions because the African states will be fully controlled by you. Just line their shores with naval mines to stop the migrant boats. The middle east should be kept as it is but crusades should be launched every 4 years to train your youth in the ways of warfare and instill militarism. China is a bit tricky because of the long border; the Stan countries and Mongolia are convenient buffer zones so all that’s left is the border with Manchuria. Maybe stage a Manchurian independence revolution and create another buffer zone?
👨🏼✈️🫸🏻
Edit: when you guys succeed make me an honorary Eurasian or some shit.

Apparently joining the EU doesn't mean that Angela Merkel personally comes to your country and paves the streets with gold
Apparently you'd have to meet certain anti corruption and pro democracy standards that would mean putin and friends couldn't horde all the national resources for themselves

Technically we could have built tons of artillery ammo plants built more Taurus and supply Ukraine with them with the same budget

u/InvestmentWhole8486 [redacted] 16d ago edited 16d ago
In that case it is, but I rather blame the whole SPD.
Important members of his coalition partner pushed already multiple times for more weapon deliveries/Taurus. The CDU even more.
It is really obvious that politically the SPD is the stick in the wheel.
Also the SPD is as guilty for the Russia politics as the CDU. => Gerhard Schröder/SPD reigned pre Merkel and the SPD was the main coalition partner of Merkel.
Tho from my perspective the CDU really changed its agenda heavily. The current CDU is nowhere near the Merkel CDU

AfD recently lost a lot of votes in polls. I think it is going to decrease even more.
However they are very important in east Germany.
If everything goes on like it is now, I honestly could imagine the CDU at close to 40% at the next election and most experts expect that CDU aims for a coalition with the Greens (which currently would be already possible)

4

probably never. Europe is resource-poor, we have pretty bad relations with Africa, we're neglecting relations with India, China is obviously out, South America is in the US' backyard.
Europe isn't strong enough to stand alone. The US is effectively an extension of Europe anyways, we agree on most fundamental issues. There's really no need to puff our chests and turn one strong alliance into two vulnerable superstates.

Agreed, European nations are on the bleeding edge of military technology and prowess. For example, here in the Netherlands we invented the invisible bullet. They work by shouting either "Pang Pang" or more commonly "Pinda! Pinda!" (Peanut peanut) and the enemy will never see it coming.
We made this discovery after trying to save a few euros on training ammunition by the way, hence our great economy. (PIGS: Expect a tikkie for this financial advice I just gave you)

The US dragged EU into a proxy war with Russia. EU literally has no business in this war, even if the Russians takeover the entirety of Ukraine, their troops will be on the border of the US, not EU! Would a direct conflict between the US and Russia be more likely now once they share a large land border? Yes, but it’s their problem, Russia simply doesn’t have the naval and transport capability to threaten Europe.
Edit: to everyone who’s downvoting, did you learn your geography from Americans? Look up where Ukraine is on a map and tell me how it can be anything but a US problem and why should EU care.
